BAF Days airshow was one big disappointment

I was waiting for this day for months and here we are.

To begin with, the bus from Brussels to the event, wich costs €35 pp was already meh.

The driver stopped to pick up people in wrong locations, we’ve missed the turn a few times and he was just continuously mad about this whole thing..

When we finally got closer, we’ve stuck in 1h+ traffic due to poor organization, so we’ve missed first 5 aircrafts.

I know that heat isnt their problem, but lack of preparation is killing me. Had to 25 minutes in a line to get free water from the tap just for it to be boiling hot and then another 30 minutes to buy 9€ water and 15€ coke from the shop.

Pilots did a good job, but the wait time during flyovers was definitely longer the flyovers themselves, was dissaponted that F35s only flew in a few formations without any solo flights.

All in all, overcrowded shade spots, overpriced drinks/food, poor organization, so 3/10

P.S. Thanks for the firefighters who were spraying the water into the crowd, you’re the best

Would appreciate any advices based on night one on how early to come to get closer to the stage, what to bring and how to survive the heat.

Sumer insects in apartment

So, its my second summer in Brussels and the last year was a disaster.

Since you can only take out the orange bags once per week the amount off food flies was crazy.

Also it looks like having an AC here is luxury, the only way to keep an apartment cool is opening a window.

There comes another problem- most of my windows are the roof windows without any possible way to install a mosquito net, so with every breeze of fresh air, comes a new portion of bugs.

Any really nice advice how to survive the summer? Because i couldn’t really find anything too useful online

Can i get some feedback pls?

From this try, I know that the milk was a little under steamed, but i cannot pour those crazy rosettas no matter what i try. My milk clumps up into 1 white blup and i end up making a tulip.

Weird Apple Store experience

Anyone else had weird experiences at the Brussels Apple Store lately?

Twice now I walked in and literally nobody approached me or even acknowledged me. Both times I had to awkwardly go up to employees just to be told they’re busy.

First time they somehow lost my iPhone battery replacement appointment even though I checked in early and sat exactly where they told me to wait.

Today I came with a dead Apple Watch after ocean water exposure just asking for a rough opinion before spending hundreds on replacement/repair, and got told I need a diagnostic appointment in over a week before anyone can say anything.

Then they told me there’s a 30 min wait just to buy a new watch… and the model wasn’t even in stock anyway.

I genuinely like Apple products but the Brussels store experience feels weirdly cold and chaotic for such a premium brand.

Is this normal here or am I cursed?
