I’m looking for a desk (or a place to buy good ones) that is L-shaped, is very wide with enough room for my pc and a dual and/or maybe tri monitor setup as well as room to work on my robotics projects. Just curious if anyone had any recommendations.
After months of deliberating I finally decided to switch from windows 11 to POP OS! I spent a few hours getting everything setup and it’s all working great, I’m so glad that I finally switched and now won’t have ads and ai slop shoved down my throat 24/7. Still getting stuff figured out so any tips and/or things to look out for will be appreciated.
Im having an argument with my friend about the actual laws surrounding internet piracy. If you just download a file from a website can you get in legal trouble? Or is it just if you sell/distribute it? Also what is the likelyhood of actually getting persecuted for it because my friend claims he knew someone who got fined a bunch of money for pirating video games. Just wondering if anyone could settle this argument.
I have been working on my dream PC build for a while and ive putting aside a portion of my paycheck towards it, the problem is that I have divorced parents with split custody. so originally it was that I would only be able to use it at one house but i did some more research and decided to use the thermaltake tr100 and make a sff build and keep a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers at each house. I am just wondering if anyone has any advice for different parts i could use. Im trying to get around 200+ fps at 1440p and I also do 3d modeling/rendering but nothing extremely heavy. (my current build with a 1650 can handle most of the things i do) but I also love experimenting with different computer things so i want to have the headroom on my computer to do that. just looking to see if you guys have any advice. the only thing im not gonna change is the keyboard but other than that Im open to suggestions about parts and even other solutions to the split custody problem.

(Im putting this here because ive gotten comments like this before) yes ik that it is quite an expensive machine for someone my age but this is something that I have been working towards and it has always been my dream to build a top of the line system for myself. I promise im not some rich brat, this is something i have been (and still am) working towards and every penny for this build is mine.

budget wise, i dont have anything set but i would not like to go above what it is at right now because that is already really high for me.
I have always loved pcs and have wanted to build one since I was like 10, but it’s always been too expensive, especially now with RAM, Storage and GPU prices. But about 2 months ago I realized how much usable stuff people throw away or don’t use. So I have spent the last 2 months scouring my city and searching for people getting rid of stuff and then I went and picked it up. The only costs were #1. the monitor/monitor stand (I bought a 1050 TI for $35 and traded it for two 1080p monitors and the monitor stand but I only use one of the monitors in the setup and I replaced the top one with an old tv hooked up to an Apple TV.) and #2. The GPU (a 1650 I bought from my friend for. $40) Almost every part has its own story and I figured at least some people here would find it cool. I have a parts/specs list and then the cool stories for all of the parts down below.
PARTS/SPECS
MOBO: custom one from the HP prebuilt that’s kinda the base for this whole thing (B350 chipset)
CPU: Ryzen 5 1500
GPU: GTX 1650
RAM: 32gb ddr4 2400
Storage: 256gb PCIe gen4 x 4 ssd and a 870 EVO 2TB SATA SSD
PSU: the one that came in the prebuilt (350W)
Case: same thing as PSU and MOBO
STORIES
MOBO, RAM, CPU, CASE, and PSU: they all came from an hp omen prebuilt (Hp Omen 880-058 I believe) that i got from a random Walgreens employee. They doubled the RAM that was in the prebuilt from 16GB - 32gb. I had to spend several hours in my garage cleaning the case + parts because they all smelled like cigarettes.
GPU: bought it for $40 off of my friend
256gb NVME ssd: stole it from my old laptop and reinstalled windows for my pc
2TB SATA SSD: someone else gave me another old prebuilt that didn’t have anything good in it really besides this, so I wiped it and use it as my main game drive
MONITOR/STAND: I traded a 1050 TI for it along with another monitor
TV: it was my old family tv from the garage that I hooked up to an Apple TV
APPLE TV BOX: got it from the same guy who gave me the prebuilt with the ssd.
KEYBOARD: same thing as Apple TV box
Mouse: my friend gave it to me because they didn’t use it anymore
MOUSEPAD: my dads new job gave it to him for free and he gave it to me because he didn’t want it
CHAIR/DESK: I got these as hand me downs from my dad after he got an actual big desk and comfy chair
It runs all the games I’ve played on it at abt 80-140fps with med-high settings (I mostly have played Fortnite, poppy playtime chapter 5, and subnautica)

I’m doing something (sorry can’t give many details it’s gotta stay secret, if ur interested DM me) where I need something to be picked up along the Darwin falls trail, would someone be willing to get it and send it to me? Nothing illegal, I just can’t get there to get it myself. All I’ll say is that there is the opportunity to get WAY more money than $200 if you find it.
I’ve tried to learn code so many times, mostly via codecademy, and every time I can progress through the lessons fairly easily but then the second I go to actually use it, or don’t have the references for things, I just completely forget. Nothing ever sticks, coding really just doesn’t make sense to me, but for so many of my hobbies, (computers, Linux, robotics), coding is something that just doesn’t make any sense to me. Did anyone else have this issue? I can’t get beyond basic stuff and I still need to follow tutorials for all of it with those hobbies. I have ADHD and Autism if that affects anything. If anyone has suggestions for things to help me learn I’m open to anything. My goal is to eventually be able to fluently code in at least python, JavaScript, C, C#, and C++
