It’s interesting to watch employee tenure ruin the culture as the company gets older
Early days: Nobody has been at the company for longer than 5-10 years. Long enough to command respect, but not long enough to tell everyone to go fuck themselves. Fast forward to now, we have leaders who have been here 15-20 years, accumulating massive amounts of power, money, and high on their own supply. They sit in meetings and dictate the product roadmap, believing they know what is best for the company and for customers (or think they are the customer). Obviously there are exceptions to this in both directions, but yeah.
eBay seller justifying his listing for one $300 ticket to The Odyssey in IMAX 70MM
Can we take action against these sellers? There are hundreds of tickets for sale on eBay. Can the theaters void the tickets?
UPDATE: I reported about 10 of the listings and eBay declined to remove them: “We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent.”
Are these cuts normal?
Paid $230 in Los Angeles. First time I’ve done tinting of any kind and don’t know what to expect.
Amazon Pharmacy sucks
As an employee, I finally felt inclined to give it a go. One Medical and Pharmacy on mobile is a huge pain in the ass, not intuitive at all. Conflicting information, too many menus, confusing names. Pharmacy telling me to talk to Medical, Medical telling me to talk to Pharmacy.
How’s Prime Video these days?
L6 SDE Seattle considering transfer
Onsite Metro staff told me they are only at new D stations through the weekend
Really disappointing. She said as soon as they leave it’s probably going to get vandalized and thrashed.
