Can someone explain this paragraph from a book?

I am working on small documentary about the invention of World Wide Web. I reading the book the "Weaving the Web" book by Tim Berners-Lee. I am confused there about how Usenet news article changed into hypertext (like from a user point of view). Now suddenly there were links appeared on them when opened in the browser.

I am not into web development but interested in how it came to be.

I am a bit confused here, I tried to ask Claude, it said he used not NNTP not FTP. I am searched a bit and did fully get what it meant.

So far I know, Usenet articles came to local file spool from the server. Now, because people had different machines, News network protocol was being used to talk to those file locally and fetch it.

"Meanwhile, I took one quick step that would demonstrate the concept of the Web as a universal, all-encompassing space. I programmed the browser so it could follow links not only to files on HTTP servers, but also to Internet news articles and newsgroups. These were not transmitted in the Web's HTTP protocol, but in an Internet protocol called FTP (file transfer protocol). With this move, Internet newsgroups and articles were suddenly available as hypertext pages. In one fell swoop, a huge amount of the information that was already on the Internet was available on the Web."

Better working conditions made my ADHD worse

A month ago, I switched my workplace because previous job was hell. This one is well managed. The staff is very nice and work pressure is also very low.

But, Oh boy, I am bored. I am suffering from more inattentiveness and memory problems. I also feel sleepy. English is my third language but it is the primary language I have to use at work and I am really got at it. But this boredom seems to affect my language skills. I feel like my vocabulary suddenly drops and I struggle to organize my thought.

I used to watch the clock ticking all day. I am still watching the clock ticking all day.

I think I need to find a creative job like YouTube.

Sleepy and Tired after meals

Hi,

I am starting keto and I have made balanced diet plan with around 1900 calories (53kg and 5 feet). I am doing this mainly to deal with ADHD.

I am trying to consume all my calories in three meals. And it is a bit hard for me eat even 600 to 700 and I feel full and bloated. But on carb diet it is really easy to consume.

Is this an adjusting phase?

I also feel very sleepy and tired for about 45 minutes after eating before my energy level becomes consistent.

How long does body takes to adjust?

Looking for an investor interested in education

I have an idea for education platform. I will be making multi-episode entertainment plus educational series on YouTube. These series will be professionally made. They cover many science domain or sub domain in details covering all the fundamentals.

Now, viewers who are interested in specific skills or domains, we will provide them with experts or guides to help them in a more personalized way.

The resource I am looking for is my own time. I will have to quit my job to work on the project. I am looking for a an investor who is already in educational field.

I have done my studies in early childhood education and working as an educator. I am based in Canada.

Looking for an investor

Hi everyone,

I'v been thinking about a YouTube Series Channel for a long time. My plan is to make multiple episode series on educational topics. I want to cover a full science domain or branch in the series.

The key idea is to combine entertainment and education together.

I am not planning to do some cheap voice over and animation. If I am going to do it has to be a proper professional series.

But, the main issue is that I want to go full time on it. Working evening and weekends won't cut it. If we need to build something top tier it requires time and effort of that level.

If anyone is willing to be investor or partner or have any advice

Please dm me...

What is your monthly budget to create activities for children in daycare??

Hi,

I just started a new job in a daycare. But they are extremely strict about doing anything which is not on their monthly activities list. I looked at the activities and they are 90 percent just paper and colors. These was only focused on fine motor skills. Seems like someone used AI to create the chart and did not even thought about other major domains.

I tried to talk to them about maybe changing the activities a bit or they way I But I was told that It is the same across all the centres. Instead they told me if I want to do the activities my way or try my own activities. I have to prepare all the activities for next month in advance.

Now this is a private daycare centre. I totally understand that, but the entire budget for 20 to 25 activities, I am allowed to spend is just $20.

I personally don't know but according to review, I read on google they charge high fee to parents.

They don't even have a ball to play with the kids. How am I supposed to prepare 20 activities with this budget unless I am doing painting and drawing.

I would be happy to spend some money for the group if we can do some quality activities. But they say that other teachers have to spend their money too and not everyone wants that.

Does anyone have any idea on this on how these things work, I am fairly new in this profession. About 6 months after internship. Or anyone does some good activities with

Anyway, if someone knows about the rules in Quebec please help out.

For ECE in Canada

Hi,

I graduated in December and planning to move to Ontario as an ECE. I did an AEC program, 4 semester across two years. Along with I did almost 400 hours of internship in Montreal, QC.

So far, I have been working as a full time educator for almost for almost 3 months. Average around 30 to 35 hours per week.

My question is, has anyone else went through the same process and became a registered ECE in Ontario with similar qualifications?

The www.college ece.ca website I find a bit confusing about requirements vs hours.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Hours Theory - 495

Hours Laboratory - 780

Total Hours in the Program - 1275 c.hrs

Whoop shows when I struggle with focus

Hii,

Since few weeks, I have been noticing something on whoop’s stress meter.

Whenever I try to focus in a noisy environment or during a racing mind. My stress goes high on whoop even though my heart does show much difference.

Sometimes when I travel in a bus and I leave my headphones in ambient mode I feel like something is not making sense why am I feeling this weird. And I check my stress monitor it was high. And about 10 mins later it comes back to normal when I put on anc.

Does anyone else have similar experience??
