I have this pair of men’s suit pants that need the bulky extra fabric out of the crotch

This is a custom pair of tuxedo pants that need about an inch out of the crotch. The construction of this garment is new to me and I just want to make sure I’m thinking this thru correctly. I’m going to undo the crotch stitching enough to take the seam in and then put back together. The designer said to just move the front pieces in which seems like it would make a mess. I’m thinking it needs to be done in the standard way. No pressure here, custom made tux for wedding in Cabo next weekend that he just got in the mail from the designer yesterday. 😬. Beautifully made garments and I don’t want to screw up by over thinking this. TYIA.

Likely cuff tear and confirmed broken collarbone.

Fell 4/19, found out last week collarbone didn’t heal right when I went for a cuff tear consult. So I’m looking at both having to be surgically repaired and I’m guessing they’ll do them at the same time? I’m waiting for a CT and MRI before I see the dr again. I’ve got a high pain tolerance but it sounds like this is something special? I’m low key trying to not freak out, I’m 57 so healing won’t be like it was when I was younger I know. Although I’m in so much pain right now what’s the difference 😜

Broken collarbone poss rotator cuff tear

So 4/19 I slipped in the bathroom and broke my collarbone, sling for 6 weeks and thought all was well. Nope. Still in lots of pain so off to orthopedic dr, took an xray to check healing ( had one at 3 weeks in and was told I was healing “fine”) and it’s not. Plus I probably have torn rotator cuff as well. It was a big fall and I also fractured my tailbone. So here we are waiting for insurance to approve the CT for my bone and MRI for cuff. They didn’t tell me not to use my arm, wear my sling or anything. Taking pain meds daily just to get thru. I have a feeling I’m getting surgery to repair both. Anyone been thru it? Advice? How long is this recovery. I know I’m going to be bored out of my mind and going to stock up on puzzles, coloring pages and things I can do with one arm. Thank god this is my left and I’m right. handed or I’d be so screwed. Here’s my xray-it’s painful and now I know why.

Better than microtex needles?

Hi all, I hate this newish athletic fabric! Any recommendations for needles? No matter what I do I get skipped or puckered stitches. It’s the stretchy crap they’re using for slacks too. I’ve used microtex and adjusted all the things. Machine is fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Assets?

So I’m on SSDI and have been doing product development for a startup. I’ve been offered a partner position with a small salary that won’t go over what I’m allowed to earn. How will my ownership in the company be seen by SS? The plan is to sell in 5 years if all goes well. I’ve never been in this spot on or off SSDI so it’s all new to me.

So I had a L 4&5 lamenectomy in December, finished my last PT session last week and Sunday night slipped, fell and broke my collarbone and bruised my tailbone!! I’m so tired of being in pain and recovering from something. It’s been a week and I’m bored out of my mind, can’t do anything but watch tv. Thank for listening 🤗
