What if these two scenarios happened? The British share Patagonia with the Spanish via immigration from the Falkland Islands while also sharing Australia with the Dutch?

Basically, the British manage to work out a similar deal with the Dutch to share Australia while also using mass immigrations from the Falkland Islands to share Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay with the Spanish. How different would things be on…practically every level? Do you think the world would be better or worse?

A DND-type collab series between Genndy Tartakovsky and the cast of Critical Role? YES PLEASE! Part 3: Animal Species Lore(Part 1)

Worldwide:

- Unicorns: these large, horse-like beasts were known to have been used as mounts, providing modes of transport, and also war vehicles that were unmatched. They were valued not only for the singular horn on their snout, for which they they were named, but also their hides, which appeared in a wide variety of colours and were brindled in a striped pattern, such as the all-too familiar brown, black, and white. Other examples included gray and orange.
Despite popular imaging, these unicorns were inspired by the zhevra from World of Warcraft, as they’d actually a cross between a zebra and a one-horned rhinoceros.

- Wargs: the best—or rather the simplest—way to describe these creatures is that they had the combined aspects of a dog and a pig: a long tail that could arch and also ended in a round tuft of fur or hair, a long snout filled to the brim with teeth so sharp that all four canine teeth were more like tusks, and a lean, yet robust body on four legs, each one of which ended in three sharp claws that helped them to climb. They were often used as both pets and livestock.
These monsters were essentially inspired by such entelodonts as the Andrewsarchus.

- Cat-weasels: when it comes to pets, there are many humans throughout the world for whom not even the most loyal wargs could not compare: cat-weasels!
This was because they’ve were excellent at hunting not only various game, but also for hunting fairly large pests, such as caimans.
In terms of physical description, cat-weasels were essentially a domesticated version of the fossa.

Koranucha:

- Zhukava: Large, bipedal herbivores who wander the plains of Koranucha in near massive groups of up to 300, these creatures have been prized by tribes of Unari for their meat, armor, and the spiky clubs at the end of their long tails, which they sometimes use as a means to keep themselves postured upright, even when using their long ears to listen for predators or their somewhat elongated noses to sniff for potential meals from miles away.
When in danger, they use both their massive legs to run at high speeds of up to 500 mph, though this does statistically little to keep them from meeting the tip of a spear or the blade of an axe.
Best physical description for these creatures? They’re essentially a hybrid between a kangaroo and a doedocurus.

- Kasai: these titanic, bipedal lizards were large and brutal. Although they feed on a wide range of creatures, including zhuvaka, they mostly keep to themselves and do not attack unless provoked or hunting for food.
Kasai are so huge and their teeth are so sharp that the Unari consider the choice to hunt or attack one as both the ultimate taboo and the sign of an ambitious warrior looking to become a legend—AT THE SAME TIME!
For description, kasai are essentially based off of a dinosaur cryptid from Eastern Africa.

Vornaguov:

- Griffins: these strange critters inhabit the mountains of the continent and have been seen as the apex predator. However, in recent years, they have been hunted to near extinction because poachers look to profiteer off their hides, meat, eggs, and even the ivory of their bones. This has caused much incentive throughout the local communities to protect the remaining populations.
Such initiatives ranged from expanding the death penalty and fine expenses for poachers to training special regiments of soldiers specifically designed to combat poachers and trophy hunters.

- Troll: these large troglodytes are seen wandering around the redwood forests they call home. Thus, they can find excellent hiding spaces.
Because of their immense size, some people often view them as more of a nuisance—particularly faming settlements. This has lead to many of the nobles administrating these communities to put up bounties to pay local poachers to find and kill the beasts.

- Ogre: because trolls and ogres were so similar in appearance, this meant that trolls were not the only creatures plagued by lazy politicians looking for an easy way out to please the droves of farming communities via bounty hunters. At first glance, it might seem that a fully grown ogre sharing the same height as an adolescent troll meant that the names might be interchangeable…
But, therein lay the only real misconception—and the near decimation of ogre populations as well as troll populations. Trolls were considerable larger than ogres.

Jol’kan’tri:

- Makara: while they are large and mighty creatures, makara are mostly docile by nature. So much so that they rely on both their great size and their armored backs plated with spiky osteoderms. Hunting parties of chimpobos, however, will almost exclusively hunt adolescent individuals of the herd(s), seeing these specimens as a sensible enough prey to provide enough meat.
Makara are based on the nodopatosaurus: a hybrid dinosaur from Jurassic World: Alive.

- Snallygosters: within the swamps and mountain ranges of Jol’kan’tri, there lives an apex predator so large it can hunt down and feed on a three and a half pods of river whales. This is the snallygoster; a great monster with wings whose shadow can envelope a large town or even a small city. They also have a large, hump-shaped spine making up their whole back. Snallygoster families typically consist of one male, two females, and a clutch of around 10 or so eggs.
Because they like large quantities of meat, their diet includes not only river whales, but also makara and even half a troop of gorillas. This has lead to the three species viewing each other with contempt.
Not only do snallygosters get their name from combining the names, Snallygaster and Snollygoster, but their physical description is inspired by both the pteranodon and the spinosaurus.

- River Whale: as the name suggests, these miniature leviathans make a home out of the rivers throughout Jol’kan’tri. There has, historically, been something of a symbotic relationship between the river whales and the orangutans: in exchange for the river whales ramming into the roots of mango trees—and thus helping to collect the fruits that fall off the branches, the orangutans which keep a watchful eye on the skies about the canopies of the swamp and signal the whales about any and all forms of danger.
River whales are essentially baleen whales, but shrunken down a tad to more easily traverse the deep rivers of Jol’kan’tri.

Keep in mind, this is all I could come up with for now.

A DND-type collab series between Genndy Tartakovsky and the cast of Critical Role? YES PLEASE! Part 1: Plot and cast; spoilers ahead

Picture this: a mature animated DND series co-created by Genndy Tartakovsky and the cast of Critical Role, however, with the latter voicing extras and/or recurring characters…

Plot: 500 years after the fall of the Human Empire, the world of Argahavna has endured a peace it had barely known before even the RISE of the Human Empire. But, when an ancient evil begins to slowly make its way into the world, it’s up to a plucky, rag-tag group of misfit buffoons—and also a down-on-his-luck human—to do the impossible: save the world!

Main Cast:

- TBD as Lord Adnan Kingsley: once the lord of the city of Greshenham—and thus the vizier of the state of Jerosmiloga, Lord Adnan was banished by his racist sister, Lady Gülfem, for wanting to improve the human population’s image by increasing rights to Greshenham’s various non-human communities. Needless to say, this life of exile eventually makes him meet Sheevarit, Altanorik, Magkalyn, Homer, Blessing, and also Hasan, which helps him to name their new gang: the Outfits(a portmanteau of the terms, outcasts and misfits).

Possible acting choices include Bertie Carvell, Matthew Mercer, and Sharlto Copley

Character is a human, so the actor must speak with a South African accent!

- Sarah Shahi as Sheevarit: having lost most of her family during the shellyworm raid on her village, the former Lady Sheevrit would’ve been sold into slavery alongside the rest of the unari in her village.

It was because of Lord Adnan causing the destruction of the slave market in the city of Shu Mbaka, thus freeing her, Altanorik, and Magkalyn that all three eventually join the group known as the Outfits.

Many, many years after the group disbands upon saving the world from the ancient evil, it is revealed in the epilogue that she is married to both Altanorik and Magkalyn and that she, like her wife, has birthed a boy-girl set of twins.

- David Giuntoli as Altanorik: Like both Sheevarit and Magkalyn, Altanorik was once a highborn unari—in fact, he was actually the son of the lord(Travis Willingham) and Lady(Laura Bailey) paramount of their tribe. He was freed from being sold into slavery when Lord Adnan Akyol caused the destruction of the slave market in Shu Mbaka after being captured by a group of shellyworms looking to capture and sell people into slavery.

Many years after the group disbands, it is revealing in their shared portion of the epilogue that Altanorik took both Sheevarit and Magkalyn to wife and that they have four children in total: Tul’karon and Jumashi(his twin son and daughter by Sheevaritt); Jan’kobra and Lokatha(his twin son and daughter by Magkalyn)

- Janina Gavankar as Magkalyn: When a group of shellyworm slavers destroyed her village and killed most of her family, the former lady Magkalyn was captured by those same slavers alongside both Sheevarit and Altanorik.

This lead to her being part of the group known as the Outfits. In the epilogue taking place years after the group disbanded that she is married to both Sheevarit and Altanorik, with her bearing a boy-girl set of twins, just like her wife.

- Ben Affleck as Homer Marblestone: half human, half gnorf, Homer is good at allowing circumstances to determine when people will notice him. This proves especially useful due to his proficiencies as a gunslinger.

Because of these combined talents, Homer is quite the genius when it comes to battle plans. We first meet him at the bazaar in Shu Mbaka, wherein the destruction of the local slave market sees him eventually join the group known as the Outfits.

Given that the character is at least half human, actor must speak with a South African accent

- Melissa McCarthy as Blessing: an orphan who was raised by a traveling circus, Blessing has many incredible powers, specifically over the four basic elements: water, fire, earth, and air.

This lead people to believe she was a human sorceress—which was quite the anomaly considering humans are so unlikely to be given the rare circumstance of having magic that it is considered a miracle that the practically conquered the world.

That being said, it’s during the gang’s next adventure that we learn the big secret: Blessing is actually a hybrid between the four subraces of genasi—through means of both magical and genetic sciences.

- Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson as Hasan Laughingstorm: half human, half giliath, Hasan is more than adept at showing his strength, especially in hand-to-hand combat.

This makes him especially useful against tougher obstacles or opponents, like when he fought in hand to hand combat against the dragon, Dru’govir(Giancarlo Esposito) in a training session.

Given that the character is at least half human, actor must speak with a South African accent

Recurring Cast:

- Travis Willingham as Lord Djimbuko: Lord paramount of the Nimblestark tribe of Unari, Djimbko was as proud as he was stoic, often praising his son everyday, despite the fact that he still wanted a daughter even after Altanorik was born.

When he found out that his son seems to have gotten on with both Ladies Sheevarit and Magkalyn, Djimbuko and his wife, Velshiara(Laura Bailey) wasted no time in the hopes of trying to arrange for Altanorik to fight both Korgoth(Tom Kenny) and Jo’draeor(Phil LaMarr) for both ladies’ hands in marriage.

Unfortunately, such a fight would never happen, and the Lord and Lady themselves were among the half of the tribe’s populace chosen to be killed by a traveling band of shellyworms looking to sell the other half of the tribe into slavery.

- Laura Bailey as Lady Velshiara: Being the Lady paramount of the Nimblestark tribe meant that Velshiara has had to help her husband maintain order in their lands.

She was especially overjoyed when he gave birth to a son, Altanorik. One day, she had been even more so when it was revealed that he had fancied both ladies Sheevarit and Magkalyn.

Unfortunately, she and her husband would be killed by a roaming band of shellyworms looking to capture half the Nimblestark tribe for the purpose of adding product to the slave market in the city of Shu Mbaka.

- Ronin Willinghman(credited as Ronin Bailey-Willingham) as young Altanorik: Altanorik’s younger self who only appears in flashback sequences.

- Violet Garner-Affleck as Lady Gülfem Kingsley: Lord Adnan’s racist niece, who is so obsessed not only with the image of power represented by the days of the Human Empire, but also with its own obstreperous propaganda that humans are the most superior race on Argahavna. She even goes so far as to try and realign with the dragons, hoping they might help She is later defeated and slain by Altanorik in an attempt to save Lord Adnan from being strangled to death.

Given that the character is human, the actor must speak with a South African accent

- Giancarlo Esposito as Dru’hgovir: a massive fire-breathing red dragon who believes whole-heartedly in dragons having their own worldwide empire in Argahavna—so much so that he even makes a deal with the Outfits: In exchange for helping them on their final battle against the Cult of the Fracture, the dragons are to formulate their own empire.

- Sam Riegel, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, and Ashley Johnson as Choagul(Sam), Greotheloxon(Liam), Arbragoth(Marisha), and Ulvangila(Ashley): four dragons; a blue dragon, a yellow dragon, a silver dragon, and a brass dragon, these four used to be friends with Dru’hgovir(Giancarlo Esposito) before the latter started showing an increasing obsession with imperialism and domination over all other life forms. This lead to the four being alienated from Dru’hgovir, and also to the Outfits having to find each dragon individually in order to stop him.

- Sharon Leal as Lady Janelle Ayaydin: the vizier of the Human city of Azılvir, Lady Janelle understands the importance of trying to better the reputation of the humans in the eyes of every other sentient being on Argahavna. Although this sentiment is shared by Lord Adnan Kingsley, the two of them could not be more different in their approach: whereas Adnan tries to achieve the dream of creating a more democratic Human Empire, Lady Janelle understands that even the truest and most peaceful democracies are more flawed than people generally think.

Given that the character is human, the actor must speak with a South African accent

Guest Stars:

- Kofi Siriboe as Shango Mensah: The Mansa of the Human kingdom of Njongo, he and his wife, Adaku(Pepi Sonuga) are in possession of the Spear of Freedom(one of the many vestiges needed to prevent the elder gods from reawakening and unleashing cosmic war upon the world. They are reluctant, until realizing that the people of Njongo are liberated from the clutches of the Rainbow of Blood. It is then that both Shango and Adaku finally agree to relinquish the spear.

Given that the characters are human, the actors must each speak with a South African accent

- Ryan Potter as Vlodimir Nagamoto: The Khan of the Himan kingdom of Khubilan, he and his wife, Rhiannon(Chase Sui Wonders) are in possession of the Axe of Greatness(one of the many vestiges needed to prevent the elder gods from reawakening and waging war upon the world). After freeing the people of Khubilan from the clutches of the Rainbow of Bloodshed, only then do Vlodimir and Rhiannon agree to relinquish the axe.

Given that the characters are human, the actors must each speak with a South African accent

- Kevin Michael Richardson as the leader of the Shellyworms: a slave trader by employ, it’s his job to make sure that his troop have captured enough members of such races as gnorves, unari, giliaths, apes, tieflings, and aasimar to be sold into slavery.

That’s all for now. I might come up with other suggestions…

A DND-type collab series between Genndy Tartakovsky and the cast of Critical Role? YES PLEASE! Part 2: Races of Argahavna

See Part 1 for story details.

Humanoids:

- Humans: One of the most widespread species on Argahavna, these beings first appeared on the planet from portals leading to an unknown, distant realm. Before becoming a unified empire, the humans who had arrived on Argahavna had done so as a set of small groups on a strange, multi-biome subcontinent in the middle of the ocean, just on the equator. When the empire was first formed, it was done so on the basis of uniting every human on the planet into a single kingdom, in case there were other beings on the planet.

It turns out there were; some of these races, like such beastfolk as the Loxhares, the wargs, and even the dragons, had been treated with respect and understanding by the humans. Unfortunately, this was mostly due to a number of factors that did NOT make such races susceptible to being subjugated by the empire. Eventually, after a series of slave revolts and internal conflicts throughout the planet, the Human Empire was finally dissolved, leading to the once unified empire to diverge into plethoras of different cultures and even skin colours and hair textures.
Important notes:

For one thing, all the humans on Argahavna speak the common tongue with what is considered a South African accent in our real world.
For another, both the species and the empire they founded might be called Human, but despite their omnivorous diet, they are technically dhampirs, as is evident by their preference to the taste of blood(particularly fresh blood). Finally, the flag of the Human Empire is essentially a combination of the British and Ottoman flags(a Union Jack with a white star and crescent moon in the middle of one of the crosses.

- Unari: While even a growing minority of people might consider their own empire to be too arrogant and dictatorial in the long run, an even smaller minority within that one have either forgotten or are to ignorant to realize that at least three different races quite literally owe their very lineage to the machinations of the Human Empire, particularly through its selective breeding programs.

Upon realizing that not only were orcs so stark that just one specimen can hold their own against a adolescent dragon, but also that elves were so nimble that when they ran, they did so at such high speeds they practically looked to have turned invisible. Thus did the various viziers, lords, and even the Emperor himself at the time realize they needed to find a way to use this to their advantage.

Unfortunately, only select numbers of elves and orcs respectively had chosen to at least have talks with the humans, rather than all out war. So, an agreement was made; in exchange for submitting to the empire and sharing territory with each other, these select perish tribes and elven clans would offer assistance the fight against the respective tribes and clans who DID opt for war.

Because of this, the overlap in territories obviously meant that the tribes and clans would frequently commingle bloodlines, leading to a new race of beings: the Unari(combining *una—*the elvish word for one—with *ari—*the orcish word for power). But the Unari were not the only race of slaves created by the empire through crossbreeding so much they overshadowed their parent races to the brink of extinction…not were they the last…

- Gnorves: Upon hearing of the successes of the breeding program that arrange unions between orcs and elves, the rest of the Human empire tried this method yet again. This time, the wealthier castes of the empire sought to outrank each other in terms of oppulent lifestyle.

How could this be achieved? As far as the Emperor’s eldest son, or rather the large number of male gnomes and female dwarves working on palace—and the capital city at large—had become concerned, the solution suddenly became obvious: male gnomes were to marry female dwarves, thus creating the ultimate race of house slaves. There was only one problem with this plan, in the eyes of the other nobles who listened, that is: some of these dwarves and gnomes, respectively, still had spouses and children.

Fortunately for the empire more than either the gnomes and dwarves, respectively, the was suddenly something of a food shortage happening in the capital, and the empire still chose to focus its efforts on expansion and trade.

Thanks to this, and of course the humans’ natural thirst for blood, let’s just say that after some time, more and more male gnomes and female dwarves had little choice but to intermarry continuously. Thus it was, yet another new race was born: Gnorves.

- Giliaths: The last race to be formed from the selective crossbreeding between two races at the behest of the empire came from the giants and the goliaths. Due to both races’ shared qualifications of being larger than the average human and thus strong enough to backhand a small band of soldiers into the air, the emperor at this time—who was the grandson of the emperor from the second crossbreeding program—had listened as his advisors explained: say that the Unari are excellent fighters.

Even they can’t be much of a match against larger enemies, like say, a dragon. And while we’re on the subject, let it not be said that the gnorves are skilled balcksmiths and resilient enough warriors, but as with the Unari, their must come a point wherein we need even more security to assist the Unari, or even more builders to assist the gnorves.

After hearing these complaints, it suddenly became clear what must be done: even more so when’s strange disease swept through the respective giant and goliath communities within the various settlements of the empire. At the orders of the empire, the royal physician had sent word throughout the empire: only male giants with no spouses or children and female goliaths of a similar demographic are to be treated!

The orders, although disobeyed by a few doctors on the principles of a moral high ground, had been carried out with little to no question. In short, let’s just say that in some cases, even doctors can become loyal yes men—and yes women—to absolute power, if given the right incentive. In the end, it worked and with the creation of the giliaths, the empire had become even more powerful—albeit at the cost of its relations with such beings as the beastfolk…

Beastfolk:

- Loxohare: Anthropomorphic hybrid between a bunny rabbit with an elephant, these creatures can come in a variety of sizes, be they as short as a gnorf or as tall as a giliath, they are undoubtedly seen as the smartest and wisest beings, especially by the gnorves and giliaths, respectively.

Although they’d always been on good enough terms with the Human Empire, those relations did not falter until the Great Rebellion(the jointed name for the series of events consisting of slave revolts and internal conflicts happening within the human empire). In fact, the loxohares, in spite of maintaining good relations, had spoken out and criticized the Humans’ obsession with slavery and annihilation of entire races just for not submitting.

Because of their appearance, loxohares not only have rabbit-like hind legs to help them run or make signals by thumping on the ground, but also a nose and mouth similar to those of an elephant—with a prehensile trunk and a large pair of tusks jutting out of their upper jaws.

The rest of their upper head is described as a combination between the two respective animals, even with their ears—with both ears looking like the unfurled sails on a boat or even a ship.

- Shellyworms: If the Loxohares consider all life to be cherished, regardless of how long it lasts, then the shellyworms would be the exact opposite, instead viewing individual lives as a business transaction and life as a general concept to be either a game or a transaction.

Generally speaking, these monsters combine the hard-shelled body of a turtle with the legless body of a snake, creating a race of beings who are generally seen—even by each other—as lazy, opportunistic, or just downright evil.

You wouldn’t be far off at making the last prejudice, for ever since the rise of the Human Empire—and even thousands of years well after its dissolution, shellyworms have always held a specific reputation to maintain: the trading of not only such rare items as body parts from exotic animals, but also of slaves. Ironically enough, no race, even the shellyworms themselves, had any bad blood with the loxohares(let alone to the point of selling them as slaves).

Not only have the shellyworms been such renowned slave traders, but they have also been renowned for their avaricious pursuits of poaching and trophy hunting, so much so that such barbarism has put such species of animals as griffins on the brink of near extinction.

- Apes: On Argahavna, all three species of non human ape—gorillas, orangutans, and chimpobos(which are a hybrid between chimpanzees and bonobos)—are sentient enough to speak the common tongue.

The apes live on a continent with whose biomes they share a wide variety of dinosaurs. Gorillas and Orangutans are the two largest species of apes, but are only the most gentle unless provoked, in which case, they become renowned for being brutal warriors.

Chimpobos, on the other hand, combine the brutal lifestyle of the warrior with the peaceful and…simple pleasures of life, creating the closest thing the apes might’ve had to a rival power for the Human Empire, were it not for each species of ape being so different from one another that to consider all three as the same general species is considered offensive and ignorant.

Genasi(the names of three of the four sub races of genasi are inspired by three of the four demon races from Saints: Divine Demons):

- Ifrit: Ifrit, also known as fire genasi, are tied to the elemental plane of fire.

In the colder places of the world, during its heyday, the Human Empire often utilized the djinn as a race of living furnaces, hoping to heat up their homes during the cold winter nights.

According to legend, it was actually the Ifrit who attacked first during the start of the slave revolts, though some sources disagree—debating instead between the Unari and the giliaths.

- Wraiths: Wraiths, also known as air genasi, are tied to the elemental plane of air.

Throughout the history of the Human Empire, wraiths were often used to cool down entire homes throughout the imperial colonies found in much hotter places throughout the world—essentially becoming a living ventilation system.

Some humans, particularly those of a racist mindset, accused the wraiths as a people for causing some of the worst storms in the the Great Rebellion, alongside the Undine.

- Undine: Undine, also known as Water Genasi, are tied to the elemental plane of water.

From when the Human Empire reached its zenith all the way to its dissolution, the Undine were mainly used as garden workers for any ethnic humans who would’ve preferred purebred gnomes over their half-dwarves descendants.

During the Great Rebellion, it was rumored that both the Undine and the Wraiths were jointly responsible for the devastating naval losses that would come during the later half of the war.

- Leprechauns: Leprechauns, also known as Earth Genasi, are tied to the elemental plane of earth.

Ever since the Human Empire as a whole was generalized for the breeding of both gnorves and giliaths, many humans throughout the empire would utilize them over either crossbreed due to the Leprechauns’ innate connection to all the earth elements, but the empire at large seemed recognize this talent well enough that, much like the Undine, the leprechauns would do well to work alongside both gnorves and giliaths.

During the Great Rebellion, and even some time afterwards, well into the modern age, many humans had blamed the leprechauns for causing massive earthquakes and other land-based natural disasters.

List of known Genasi crosses:

- Wraith + Undine = Jotun(snow)

- Ifrit + Leprechaun = Djinn(sand)

- Ifrit + Undine = (steam)

- Wraith + Leprechaun = Leshy(plant)

- Wraith + Ifrit + Undine = Deviya(cloud)

- Ifrit + Undine + Leprechaun = Midaos(gold)

- Leprechaun + Wrath + Undine = Hecate(posion)

What if the German and Italian governments jointly bought New Zealand from the British Empire in 1980?

Say that, in 1980, the Italian and German governments had discovered that between them, there were more than $3,000,000,000 worth of Nazi gold hidden in the Swiss Alps. Upon this discovery, they then briefly argue over the gold before realizing that this gold—if monetized—could be put to better use. Realizing that fewer people know of New Zealand than of Australia or Canada or Jamaica or even Bermuda.

Long story short, both nations impulsively decide to buy the whole of New Zealand from the British crown! There were just two small, yet easily solvable problems to this plan: Firstly, the British were even less fond of anything to do with the Nazis than, say, the French! How could this problem be more easily solved, you might be asking? Simple: melt the gold and reforge it into bricks

The second problem? Say that the British government, British corporations, or even the Queen herself had agreed to this proposal; what was in it for any of them? Perhaps in this alternate universe, the British government had spent far too much money on its various wars at the time, from Spanish-speaking Guerilla fighters in Patagonia(both a separate landmass from South America post animal and human migration as well as a jointed Anglo-Spanish colony) Dutch-speaking Guerilla fighters in Australia(a jointed Anglo-Dutch colony in this universe), for instance.

Because these two overlapping problems seemed to both fall into the jointed laps of Italy and Germany, let’s just say that the British Empire of this universe might as well have just given it for free to the rebellious slaves—or migrant workers to use the caste system’s own vernacular—to begin with.

But that’s just my take on it. What are some of your thoughts on this matter?

Let’s be honest, at this point, I think it’s more a question of how long before the U.S. does collapse, even partially. Matter of fact, I’m hoping it’s sooner rather than later, given everything that’s happening.

For context, I shared a similar mindset to one of the commentators regarding both the Canadian Provinces of Alberta and Ontario in this case.

What if Aenys and Maegor each had a twin sister?

Say that Aenys and Maegor each had a twin sister. Would Maegor and Aenys each marry his own twin sister respectively? Or would each man marry the other’s twin sister, to join the lines of Rhaenys and Visenya? Also, what would the aftermath of either marriage be like on Westeros as a whole?

Can you adjust the age of preset characters?

For context, I know you can adjust the age of custom made characters in game, but what about preset characters, such as Faye and Florence? Or even Su-Jin? If this only applies to custom characters, that’s cool. I was just curious.

What if Occitania was a sovereign nation in a similar vein to both Switzerland and Belgium?

Imagine, if you will, that sometime in history, the southern half of France became a separate nation called Occitania? Moreover, this version officially spoke French, Italian, and Spanish, much like French, German, and Italian are spoken in Switzerland? Or French, German, and Dutch are spoken in Belgium? What would that be like? Would it be a good trifecta, like I assume? Or would things be worse than they are in our own timeline?

Will polycules be included?

I’ve been seeing lots of different videos on the topic of relationships on Paralives, and it got me thinking: will the devs get a chance to add polycules or poly romance options? Just curious is all.

A miniseries based on this romance novel?

Synopsis: Dani and Joy are two roommates looking for a third. They find one in Alex, a charming young man who seems to have caught both their eyes. What follows is a ménage a trois that makes all three question their so-called norms…and ponder what the future has in store for them.

Disclaimer: I’ve never read the books, unless you count the Read Sample button on Amazon for at least one of them, but I already have an idea as to who can play whom…

Cast:

- Zoey Deutch or Grace Van Patten or Kaitlyn Dever or Taylor Russell as Dani

- Nick Robinson as Alex

-Kaitlyn Dever or Grace Van Patten or Zoey Deutch or Chase Sui Wonders as Joy

Any Poly-Friendly fanfics about children of Past Contestants

I recently saw some artwork of a fanfic with such characters as a son of Gwen and Duncan, as well as a daughter of Izzy and Ezekial(side note, WHY?!?!) and it got me thinking…”are there any fics out there with similar characters, but more poly friendly to expand the number of potential readers? Say a poly romance between Carrie&Devin’s daughter/Gwen&Duncan’s son/Harold&Leshawna’s daughter?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Also, could potentially be a crossover between Total Drama and Ridonculous Race?

My fancast for Andy Serkis’ Animal Farm

Synopsis: Andy Serkis’ Animal Farm, from what I hear, barely followed the source material. In my own fancast, however, that is an entirely different story... Also, most of the actors would A) do a British, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish or Irish accent; and B) when playing animals, do a combination of prosthetics and mocap suits:

Andy Serkis(who is also directing) as the Narrator

Either Helen Mirren or Brian Cox as Old Major

Bertie Carvel as Snowball

Tom Ward as Bluebell

Jodie Whittaker as Jessie

Charles Dance as Napoleon

Aiden Gillen as Squealer

Giancarlo Esposito as Mr. Whymper(this version is an immigrant from North America)

David Giuntoli as Boxer the Shire horse

Sarah Shahi as Mollie; a Hispano-Arabe(they don’t seem to mention what kind of horse Mollie is in the book)

Janina Gavankar as Clover; an Arabo-Friesian(as is the case with Mollie, they don’t seem to mention the kind of horse Clover is in the book)

Steven Toussaint as Benjamin the donkey

Fern Brady as Muriel the goat

David Caves as Moses the Raven

Michaela Cole, Ego Nwodim, Kofi Siriboe, Idris Elba, Wunmi Mosaku, John Boyega as the Rats

Henry Golding, Jessica Henwick, Gemma Chan, Benedict Wong, Charles Melton, Kelsey Asbille(credited as Kelsey Chow) as the Rabbits

Kevin Michael Richardson as Mr. Pilkington

Rhys Ifans as Mr. Jones

Actors from Aotearoa(or at least actors who can pull off a Kiwi accent) as the Sheep and the Cattle in dual roles

TBD as the Chickens

Michelle Fairley as Victoria the Cat

Peter Claffey as Pincher the Rottweiler

Original Characters:

Salme Geransar as Tamara: Boxer and Mollie’s daughter

Geraldine Viswanathan as Lysara: Boxer and Clover’s daughter

Simply put, there was a video of an EU4 playthrough detailing the timeline of both the British and Ottomans conquering the world together, and it got me thinking…what if, at some point, not only did the British cut ties with the Portuguese, but also decided, circa late 1400’s-early 1500’s, decided to form such a strong trade union with the Ottoman Empire; a few of the British ships for a few of the Ottoman cannons, and both empires would be able to truly conquer most of the world. I.e., the Ottomans expanding as far as the western half of the Indian Subcontinent, while the British can claim Spain, Portugal, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, and Italy, as well as the Americas and Oceania. Africa and the rest of Eurasia could be divided between the two empires however they wished.

Bear in mind, this would be just my two cents. Would love to explore this topic as a future althist video, or even an alternate history mockumentary series.
