HE rounds work.... exceptionally well on helis, apparently
Battle beast vs boros
Battle beast from the show version of invincible
Boros from one punch man
I think BB can get boros to his unleashed form, but can he tank a direct hit from Boros' planet buster if it comes to that?
How to revert save state if you lose all progress in a crash
Last night I was about to start a normal mission with some buddies after giving gauntlet a try, and my whole PC crashed and restarted. No biggie, restarted the game and it played the dev video again and tried to make me play the tutorial. Buddies joked that my save got wiped, and to my dismay, it did.
The saves tab in the options in game did not work, so I will describe what I did to fix it.
If you browse the local files of the game through steam, you should find a saved folder within the rogue core folder itself.
MAKE SURE TO COPY/PASTE THE CONTENTS OF THE FOLDER BEFORE COMPLETING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS!!!!!
From here, you copy the name of the file that ends in _player.sav, and delete that file.
Now pick one of the files named _backup.sav (there should be multiple of them with different numbers, also make sure to check the time for date modified to figure out which one is the most recent/oldest) and paste the name of the _player.sav to that backup. You’re essentially renaming the backup as the current save.
That should be it, that's how I was able to retrieve my save state! Thanks to the people in the DRG discord that explained this to me. Currently at work, so if I messed any part of this up let me know so I can fix it. Hope it helps someone else out!
I think that hunter got sent to the super destroyer
Tips for fighting vox engines that aren't the leveler/solo silo/nade in vents?
Right now my buddies and I are crutching a bit too much on the methods above, but it's not very fun to have to bring 4 levelers to every single cyborg mission. Any tips?
My attempt at making some of the medic armors look decent
Maxigun needs a change
It's been completely overshadowed by both the belt fed gl and the cremator. Might as well let us walk with it while firing, or at the very least be able to dive with it the moment you let go of the trigger, because the fact that it holds you in place for almost a full second after releasing the trigger makes it much harder to actually use unless you can get someone to religiously watch your back. I also don't think either of these changes would make it op.
A quick comparison:
Maxigun:
\-Cannot move while firing, even holds you in place for a brief moment after ceasing fire
\-very low ergo, makes tracking targets at close range hard unless you specifically where armor to increase weapon handling
\-med armor pen
\-can't reliably kill heavies
\-high range, but not very effective past 30-40m, especially if you're trying to hit a smaller target (ex: harvester leg)
Belt fed gl:
\-heavy armor pen
\-variable rof
\-full mobility
\-somewhat low damage, but if enemies are close together the splash can finish them off
\-easily kills heavies on all factions (minus the new biles)
\-medium ergo
Cremator:
\-quite frankly the ammo lasts far too long
\-heavy pen, kills heavies on every front in a few seconds if you know where to shoot
\-instantly kills most light units and confuses the ones it doesn't
\-area denial
\-decent range (it's honestly better for bots than the maxi gun is)
\-full mobility
\-medium ergo
As it stands right now, I just use the maxi gun cause it's really cool, but I really dislike how much better the other backpack options are, and I feel like even the stalwart is a better option in many cases than the maxigun, and I think it deserves a little love.
I also don't know why people are resistant to changing it a little when, like I said, the other back pack options are far superior, giving it a small buff would not make the game any easier than it already is, it would just make it more fun.
