Am i doing it right—Metformin or glp

I wanted to get some advice from everyone here. I’ve been struggling with weight gain and a very high appetite for the past 5 years. I never had this issue before, but suddenly things changed. My appetite increased a lot, I gained weight, and no matter how much I work out, I hardly see any results.

In 2021, I started taking berberine and used it for about a year. It worked well initially, but now I feel like I’ve reached a point where it’s no longer helping much.

I recently consulted a doctor who has been aware of my struggle for years, and he suggested trying a GLP injection. From what I understand, though, once you stop GLP treatment, there can be a chance of regaining the weight and having your appetite increase again. My biggest issue is my high appetite and difficulty losing weight, so I’m worried about relying on something that may only work short term. I’m looking for a long-term and sustainable solution.

Because of this, my doctor and I decided to first try Metformin 250 mg and slowly increase the dose over the next three months to see how it works for me. I feel Metformin may be a slower approach, but perhaps more sustainable in the long run since the dosage can be adjusted when needed.

I wanted to hear from others: how effective has Metformin been for weight loss, appetite control, and PCOD? I know GLPs are generally more effective, but I’m curious how Metformin compares. Also, for people who have used GLPs and then stopped them, what happened afterward? Did your weight come back or did your appetite increase again

Hi everyone,
I’d really appreciate some guidance on my chart.
Here are my details:
I am currently in Rahu Mahadasha, ending in 2027
At present, I am in Rahu–Mars Antar Dasha, and I’ve attached the sub-period details in the third image
I have a few key questions:

  1. Weight gain & appetite (since 2020)
From 2020 onwards, I experienced a sudden and significant increase in weight and appetite. This was never my pattern earlier.
No matter how much I exercise or try to control my diet, the weight is not reducing.
As per astrology, why did this sudden change happen?
    Will this phase reverse?
Will my appetite reduce and my weight come down?
If yes, when can I expect noticeable improvement?
Will my body return to its earlier shape (or better)?

  2. Continuous struggles (since 2019)
Since 2019, life has felt like a series of challenges, delays, and setbacks.
Even though I got a better job in 2026, it still comes with constant stress and difficulties.
As per astrology, how long will this challenging phase continue?
When will my career stabilise and grow?
When will I experience ease and success instead of constant struggle?

  3. Mental peace
For the past 6–7 years, I haven’t felt mentally at ease. There’s been constant frustration, restlessness, and lack of satisfaction.
When will I start feeling mentally peaceful again?
When does this inner heaviness reduce?

Any insights based on my chart would really help. Thank you

Hi, can someone please suggest me supplements, safer supplements that can help reduce appetite? In the last three years, I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, my appetite increased dramatically, my weight increased dramatically, and I started having period issues. Like my periods do come, but they're delayed. Then I took my inositol supplement for a year that did work for period regularization. Then eventually I started taking berberine, 500 mg a day, which did really help in appetite reduction, but even then my appetite is very high. Now I'm taking 1000 mg of berberine a day to see how it goes. But can people please suggest me supplements which are safe and healthier and better in terms of reducing appetite to normal range? Just a caveat, people who think eat fiber, eat protein, please do not entertain my post and do not engage with it because I have been doing this for a really long time. I have a very good fiber and protein diet. I go to the gym. I do everything right, yet my appetite is very high. So anyone who has this suggestion that instead of taking supplements, I should do high fiber, high protein, kindly don't engage. Only people who have taken supplements which are safer, healthier and better, please help and suggest as I do not want to go for the popular drugs in the market as I am very skeptical of taking them. But since berberine has really helped me, I would benefit if something like that can be suggested to me.

Hi, I’m looking to buy a nice vibrator around ₹1000 range. I recently came across the Durex bullet vibe, but I don’t know if it a charging point in it so can anyone let me know if they use that or can suggest any other really good vibrator, which can be penetrated also and can last longer than an hour.
