Monitor limited to 60hz on new PC

One of my monitors, VG27AQL1A with my new PC will no longer support 1440p 170hz and is limited to 1440p 60hz. I've found a workaround by using HDMI and getting 1440p 144 hz, but I am still curious the technical reason Display port is limited now. I made sure in Windows and Bazzite that the refresh rate setting is set as high as possible, my other 2 monitors with DP 1.4 don't have this issue, also I set RGB to 8bit not 10bit color.

Old PC: Used an Nvidia 1060 6GB, plugged in with trusted Display Port 1.4 cable on Windows 10.

New PC: AMD 9070XT, plugged in with same trusted Display Port 1.4 cable, limited to 60hz on both Windows 11 and Linux Bazzite.

What I think is the issue: The VG27AQL1A only has a display port 1.2 output, I think DP 1.2 doesn't support DSC (Display Stream Compression). Is this the reason I am limited? The 1060 GPU doesn't support DSC so it worked fine with DP 1.2. But my 9070XT does support DSC, and now there is some compatability error. Does anybody have any other ideas or is this the issue? Is there anyway to fix it?

FxPakPro requiring forcing Power button?

With a normal big SNES, normal cartridges work great. But when I put the FXPak Pro in the cartridge slot, when I slide the power button up it requires more force then usual and pushes the flashcart back a bit. Is this normal? It still turns on and everything seems normal

Commuter Backpack redesign?

I got my commuter bag about a year ago and have loved it. My wife liked how it can stand up on its own without tipping over, and she wanted the same bag for her travel trips so I ordered another one for her.

I noticed that in the newer bag there is a rubber bit of lining on the inside of the 2 water bottle pockets on the exterior. Mine doesn't have these, I haven't had any problem with my water bottle falling out, but this little update is a nice touch

Dual GPU's on Htpc?

I use the htpc deck version of Bazzite on my PC with a 9070XT as my primary GPU. I have an old 1060 6gb that I don't have much of a use for, so I was thinking of putting it in my system with the 9070XT, mainly for tasks where having a second dedicated GPU can help with tasks like Lossless scaling and Shader glass. How does Bazzite handle 2 GPUs and with one of those being an older Nvidia card? I mainly play games in Gamemode

Any ideas on making L&R harder to press?

Any ideas on how to give the L & R buttons more resistance? For me they have very little resistance and I accidentally press them when unintended. Does anyone know of a quick mod I could do to give the membrane or button force more resistance? I am comfortable opening up the controller

Tips for using On screen keyboard?

I accidentally found out that when the on-screen keyboard is on screen, you can press the start button to toggle it to move from the top or bottom of the screen. Very useful when the keyboard is covering the textbox I am typing in. Are there any other button combos that are good to know?

Steam Controller updating firmware issue between Bazzite and Steamdeck

I've been using my Steam Controller between my Bazzite HTPC and my Steamdeck. Every time I switch my controller to use a different machine there is a firmware update for both the controller and puck. I'm on the stable Steam build on Bazzite and on Beta Steam build on my Steamdeck. Is that why it is updating constantly? At first I thought it was just Valve updating the Steam Controller very often, but I don't think that's the case.

I updated my controller & puck on my Steamdeck last night, then this morning I plugged them back into my Steamdeck to see if there was an update and there wasn't any. I then plugged my them in to my HTPC and now Steam says that there is a firmware update. Is this a bug or is because I am using Stable and Beta on different devices?
