My first and probably last passport stamp
I asked the border guard to put it in both of my passports and he did it.

The BikeLink lockers will be temporarily moved to the parking lot due to construction.
Long story short, somebody thought it was a great idea to put these inside their passport, and now we have international travel to Germany coming up in less than seven days. Am I going to get denied entry? Am I about to get a full German-style lecture at passport control? Do I need to rush and get a replacement passport ASAP, or should I just use my U.S. passport and hope for the best?
Edit: this is my son‘s passport. He is 10 years old.
Has anyone else been getting stuck in this ID verification loop lately? I’m a California resident in the military, and I’m currently fighting Amazon over a $59 misdelivery charge. a support agent named pablo already admitted they sent it to the wrong place and promised me a refund but now the system is refusing to move forward unless i upload a photo of my id.
The problem is I literally can’t do that because 18 U.S. Code section 701 makes it a federal crime for a business to scan or copy a military ID. I’ve been in a chat for two hours and finally got a manager named Jay, who kept telling me his hands were tied. I had to basically cite the January 2026 return settlement (case 2:23-cv-01372) and tell him that using these "technical loops" to block a promised refund is a violation of that court order.
I also brought up California AB 578, which is supposed to protect us from this exact thing. After I wouldn't let it go, he finally "found" a way to do a manual override, but it was like pulling teeth. Has anyone else had to go this far just to get a basic refund? It feels like they’re just banking on people giving up so they can keep the money. Is there a better way to get them to stop flagging accounts for this stuff?
