Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone has run into this before.
I have a Samsung QN85CA and recently enabled Game Mode, VRR, and 120 Hz for my PS5 Pro. Every once in a while while I’m playing, the screen goes black for about 1–2 seconds and then goes right back to the game. It doesnt display the HDMI input or anything—it just resumes gameplay.
The strange part is that after it happens, Game Mode seems to turn itself off on the TV.
I’m using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5 Pro, and this only started happening after enabling Game Mode/VRR.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it a Samsung firmware issue, a VRR/120 Hz handshake problem, or could it be a faulty HDMI port or cable? Any fixes would be appreciated.
Is pro adapt really better then the adapt hybrid? deciding between the two.
