Freelance Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager Seeking New Collaborations

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to fellow entrepreneurs to expand my network and offer my services. I am a graphic designer and social media manager with a passion for helping brands elevate their visual identity and digital presence.

While I have built my career as a freelancer, I am currently opening up spots for new partnerships to support some exciting personal projects. I specialize in:

Brand Identity & Design: Crafting cohesive visuals that resonate with your target audience.

Strategic Social Media Management: Managing content and engagement to grow your local community.

I pride myself on being reliable, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to my clients' success. Whether you have a project that needs a fresh perspective or need consistent support to take the pressure off your social media planning, I would love to connect.

If you or someone in your network is looking for a dedicated designer or manager, please let me know. I’d love to send over my portfolio and discuss how I can add value to your business.

Thank you for your support!

Team of 2 freelancers. Struggling to get work. Help please.

Hi

So we targeted small businesses without websites and they ignored us.

Is small business owners the wrong target market? We even targeted studios/agencies and they ignored us. Whether we applied as individuals or together same issue.

We work great together and collaborate which helps us complete projects efficiently. Yet we only managed to get 1 local client.

Help needed please.

Is the target market with small businesses and other agencies/studios? Does anybody know of another studio or freelancers willing to bring us on their team?

2025-2026 has been so tough on us as freelancers. 🥲

Can't get international clients anymore like we use to. Help needed. Tried everything and looked everywhere.

Team of 2 here;

We work great together and have a multiple set of skills and experience in both design and tech

We have only so far secured 1 local client for ads, social media and web dev although we also offer automation as a service

We have been struggling to get more clients in the international market since 2025 despite our skills and efficiency as a small team of 2

What's happening?

Feeling perplexed by the effort we put in vs the results

We've even reached out to other agencies to help with overflow of work

Help,

We have the drive and motivation to help our clients achieve their goals but lack of opportunities isn't the problem

Feeling stuck

What do I do? I collaborate with another freelancer and I feel betrayed.

This is my partner's first social media client and he has no idea how social media works.

He helped build the website and I help with social media.

Now the client called him randomly today and asked that we post her product pictures every day.

The problem is we orginally quoted her a lower price for only 2 posts a week per month.

He doesn't see the issue of why don't we just please the client and do what the client asks while sticking to the original price.

I feel betrayed and I feel sabotaged because why didn't he ask my thoughts on this if we are working together?

Why agree to this amount of work and he is also underestimating the effort it takes and says " we're just posting pictures everyday" what's the issue?

What do I do? I'm really pissed off.

My husband and I have complementary tech skills, should we approach agencies as a freelance team or target business owners directly?

My husband and I work together as freelancers and we're trying to figure out the best way to grow our client base.

We actually work really well together professionally. We combine web design, web dev and digital marketing like social media management and ads. We've completed projects together successfully and have one local client currently, but it's not enough to sustain us long-term.

The challenge is that we haven't been able to consistently land international clients. We've had quite a few discovery calls and meetings with potential clients from different countries, and many seemed interested at first, but then they ended up ghosting us. We're reliable, communicate well, and deliver our work, so it's been frustrating trying to understand what we're doing wrong.

For those who have experience in freelancing or running a small agency:

  • Is it better for us to market ourselves as two separate freelancers who collaborate?
  • Should we present ourselves as a team/studio and approach business owners directly?
  • Can freelancers successfully reach out to agencies and offer design + development services together?
  • Has anyone else experienced a lot of client calls that seemed promising but never converted into actual work?

We're trying to figure out where our efforts should be focused and what tends to work best for a husband-and-wife design/development team.

Any advice would be appreciated.

AIO: Mother isn't supportive and won't take her bed back.

I don't know if I'm overreacting or not, but I'm feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now.

My husband and I recently lost our rental because the owner decided to sell the property. It happened suddenly, and we had to scramble to find temporary accommodation. We went from living in a 2.5-bedroom house with a large garage to a tiny open-plan space where the bedroom, living room, and kitchen are basically all one room.

We're already struggling to fit our own belongings in here.

A while ago, my mother bought an extra bed and left it at our place so my brother would have somewhere to sleep if he visited. It wasn't something I asked for, and it wasn't my bed.

Now that we've had to move and have almost no space, I've asked her to take responsibility for it. Instead, she keeps saying, "Store it with your things and I'll see what I can do later."

The problem is that we don't have anywhere to store it. We don't have money to rent a storage unit. We already have our own belongings to deal with while trying to recover from nearly becoming homeless.

What hurts is that it feels like she doesn't care about the situation we're in. I feel like anyone looking at our circumstances would understand that the last thing we need right now is someone else's furniture becoming our responsibility.

I'm feeling trapped and stressed in this tiny space, and every time I look at that bed I feel even more overwhelmed.

Am I being unreasonable for expecting her to take responsibility for something that belongs to her?

EDIT: She does live in a small 2 bedroom but she has an income and can make a plan for her own bed to store it or something. I don't even have a 2 bedroom rental or money and live in an tiny space.

Former employer still contacting employee after they left the company, is this normal?

Someone I know left their job recently, but employees from the company still keep emailing/messageing them saying systems or workflows aren’t working and basically expecting them to help fix it.

Is this normal? Once someone leaves a company, can the company still contact them about work issues and expect support/help?

Especially if the person is no longer being paid or employed there anymore.

Would love to hear how this is usually handled professionally.

Why downvote me when I ask for help or graphic design advice on here?

I don't get it

If I have a graphic design question and need help or advice on a mistake I made you guys downvote me instead of helping why?

What's the point of being on this group then?

Where's the sense of community or support as a design subreddit?

Why be so mean, when I'm not mean to you all I did was ask help.

AIO- My husband brings up bills only when I want to buy something for myself

Whenever my husband wants to buy something like pizza or a small treat, it feels relaxed and normal. But the moment I mention wanting to buy something small for myself, the conversation suddenly shifts to bills, expenses, and what still needs to be paid.

It leaves me feeling like my personal spending is always under scrutiny, and like I need permission to buy even small things.

I’ve tried to express that I don’t like having financial stress brought up in the moment when I’m trying to make a small personal purchase, because it makes me feel guilty and takes away the enjoyment. But it still keeps happening.

What’s confusing to me is that when he wants something, there doesn’t seem to be the same urgency or reminder of bills in that moment. It feels inconsistent, and like I’m the only one being “corrected” or questioned.

I don’t want to be irresponsible with money. I understand budgeting and shared responsibilities. I just want to be able to make small personal purchases without feeling judged or like I’m doing something wrong.

Right now it’s starting to make me feel like my needs and choices don’t really matter in the same way, and that I’m not really allowed to enjoy small things without it turning into a financial discussion.

If you apply to jobs and get responded to, you're lucky.

Majority of the job postings, nobody gets back.

Are we applying to ghosts?

I'm even here wondering if my email is broken or something.

Almost no response, only time there's a response is if it's a rejection or the we'll get back to you and proceed to never get back to you even when you reach out again after a few weeks.

How much preserverence do I need to continue with this job search.

It's getting ridiculous.
