I fell stupid judging writing quality of some games

I feel stupid when judging the quality of the writing of some games

For a long time I only played multiplayer shooter games but one day I got tired of raging against the screen and decided to give single player games a try, in that period I was also getting into anime and manga and I searched games with a similar vibe and feel.

I started with a game called "Wuthering Waves", after playing it for a while I can say that I appreciate the story even if it has ups and downs, I don't think I am really caught up with the so called "FOMO" as I don't really care about gambling and if I really want a character I will just save up enough to guarantee it.

As a second game I instead go to "Cyberpunk 2077", I heard a lot of praise coming to this game, especially open world and writing wise. At the same time I discovered all the criticism going towards the genre of gacha games so i felt like if I tried a "real" game then I would love it a lot more than what I used to play.

I don't know how to explain it but I feel like it was a really good story, I ended up going the panam route, but nothing that life changing and superior compared to the "slop" I used to play.

In the next few months I also played and finished Resident evil requiem, Titanfall 2, battlefield 1 and 5, and was looking forward to starting The last of us 2, but this thought just went through my head.

I don't know if I am illiterate or just stupid, but I don't really see that big of a difference story-wise between this types of gams, but if somebody has a game or a book which will finally give me the feeling of "this piece of media is so much better than every single one I have tried before" I would be really happy and grateful.

10 day trip between north- eastern Italy, Croatia and Slovenia

We are a family of 4 planning a 10 day holiday during july.

We live in northern Italy and so far we have decided on this:

Start in Trieste and stay 1 day

then go to Rovinj and stay 4 days

then go to Krk island and stay 3 days

and at the end go to Ljubiana for 2 days.

We will use a car.

Personally we prefer a relaxing vacation, not really intrested in museums and would like to just either stay at the beach or walk around the cities.

Is there anything that we should change? or any tips for the places we have chosen?

Just encountered a guy which refused to play because he said he was in a team of bots.

I don't know why somebody would login into a game and just blame the team for being trash before the battle even started and refuse to play. Even if it was a randoms game i still feel like wg should take action against this kind of player because it's just so toxic and frustrating having them play.
