Using nether portals to actually teleport!
Nether portal linking can be one of the most frustrating mechanics in Minecraft, there's dozens of guides on how to avoid it but almost no info on using it to your advantage.
So I made this build to show people the power of portal linking!
By breaking the portal right after going through it you're able to redirect yourself to another portal within 1024 blocks. The result is a fantastic short range teleporter that doesn't require constantly refilling enderpearls and is accessible to other players without setup.
This is a simple design that relies on a timer and only supports 2 portals, but that makes it very cheap and compact. Using a timer also insures a speedy and adjustable reset time.
For such a simple concept it really has some crazy potential applications, even just being able to teleport mobs and items is a game changer. You can also have multiple destinations as long as you have a way to send a signal to the destination.
I'm really excited to see what people use this concept for, personally I'm going to build a portal connecting my base to the trial chamber that I'm currently turning into a underground city.
I got hollow knight collectors edition!
>!I love this game so much! I already had it on pc, but I love it enough that I also wanted to get the Nintendo collectors edition! On pc I have 107% completion, all I have left to do is delicate flower, p3, p4, p5, and unbreakable greed!<
What game should I buy?
Hi. I’m really into both hollow knight and silksong, but I’m looking for a new game, similar to hollow knight. I have a $50 budget. Any suggestions?
