6-year BVB/DVM — is September too late for an international applicant?

I’m planning to apply for the 2027 intake of USYD’s 6-year BVB/DVM as an international student.

I know the official deadline is November 30, but I’ve heard that the international quota can fill up before then.

September is the earliest I’ll be able to apply, so I was wondering if that’s still early enough.

For anyone who applied for the 2026 intake, especially international students:

When did you apply?

When did you get your offer?

Did you hear anything about the international spots filling up before the November deadline?

Just trying to get an idea of whether applying in September should be okay, or if I should be worried about the quota filling up by then.

Thanks!!

SAT scores come out 5 days before the UQ Vet deadline — what should I do?

Hi! I’m an international student applying to UQ Vet, and I have a question about submitting SAT scores.

The application deadline is September 30, but my SAT results come out on September 25. I’m worried that if I send my scores through College Board, they might not reach UQ before the deadline.

Can I upload the SAT score report PDF to my application as soon as I get my results, and then have College Board send the official score report to UQ afterward if they need it?

Also, if they do require the official score report, can I add it to my application after September 30 as long as I submitted the application before the deadline?

Would really appreciate it if anyone who applied to UQ as an international student could share how they submitted their SAT scores!

Will my September SAT score get to colleges by the deadline?

My application deadline is September 30, and I’m taking the September SAT. I already added the colleges I’m applying to as score recipients, so my score should be sent to them automatically.

The September SAT scores come out on September 25. Do you think the colleges will receive my score by September 30? Or does it usually take a few days after the scores are released?

I’m kinda worried because the deadline is so close 😭 Has anyone done this before?

When is this bug going to be fixed?

It’s already been 4 days and it’s still not resolved. I paid for the Pro subscription, but I haven’t been able to use it at all. I already submitted a support request, but I haven’t received any response. It doesn’t even seem like the issue has been acknowledged yet.

Has anyone found a fix for this bug?

When I enter a focus session, I can only see the timer and nothing else. My character also doesn’t appear on the main screen. It seems like this issue only happens on Android. Has anyone been able to solve it?

Is it hard to work in the U.S. as an AVMA-accredited vet school graduate from abroad?

Hi! I’m curious about how difficult it is for an international veterinarian to work in the U.S.

If you graduate from an AVMA-accredited vet school outside the U.S. and pass the NAVLE, is it generally hard to find a job that will sponsor your visa? And later on, how difficult is it to get employer sponsorship for a green card?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has gone through this or knows how the process works. Thanks!

How many mistakes for hard Module 2?

How many questions can you miss in SAT Reading & Writing Module 1 and still get the hard Module 2?

I know College Board doesn’t release the exact cutoff, but does anyone know the approximate range?

Anyone actually keep the weight off after Mounjaro?

I'm a woman, 168 cm (5'6"). I was around 90 kg and lost weight down to 50 kg in about 8 months with Mounjaro and exercise.

I didn't starve myself or anything. Honestly, Mounjaro made it pretty easy because I just wasn't that hungry most of the time.

The thing I'm worried about now is keeping the weight off.

I want to stay around this weight forever, but I know I can't stay on Mounjaro forever. I'm scared that once I stop, I'll slowly start gaining the weight back.

I don't want to be the kind of person who's weighing myself every day, freaking out over every pound, going back on the meds, or crash dieting every time I gain a little. I just want maintaining my weight to feel... normal.

Has anyone here actually stopped Mounjaro and stayed lean? How did you do it? Did your appetite eventually go back to normal? What habits helped the most?

I'd love to hear your experiences.

Offering: korean(native) seeking: English

Hi! I’m a 17-year-old female Korean student preparing for vet school abroad (Australia or the UK), so I’m working on improving my English. I’d say my level is around B1–B2, and Korean is my native language.

I’d love to practice English through texting, video calls, or studying together. Feel free to message me if you’re interested! 😊

Hello, I’m a Year 12 student currently studying in Korea.

I’m planning to apply for the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (BVB/DVM) program at the University of Sydney for the 2027 intake, and I was wondering if my profile is realistically competitive.

My school does not follow the IB or A-Level curriculum, so I understand that I need to demonstrate my academic ability through exams like the SAT.

Here are my current stats:

SAT score: 1480

Casper test: I haven’t taken the CASPer test yet, but I think I can achieve a 3rd or 4th quartile.

Animal experience: Volunteered at local vet clinics every summer/winter break. Did both hands-on assistance and clinical shadowing, and I have completed all related small animal checklists

I have also completed all the required prerequisite subjects at school.

Do you think I have a realistic chance of receiving an offer? I’m planning to apply in late June.
