I have a molar that needs a root canal. Got a second opinion months ago, the doctor cleaned it and filled it.
Had a tooth cleaning today and felt that sharp pain near that tooth. After an x ray the doctor told me I need a root canal.

I’m horribly scared of getting one. I know I get an injection before, but what if it doesn’t numb the tooth 100%? I am so scared of feeling that pain again.

If you’re doing 20:4 - OMAD, how many calories are you eating during your window?

I saw some people who say they fast anywhere from 18-24 hours and was curious to know if the calories they eat in 6 hours are the same in 1 hour (most probably not). How low can you go without causing damage?

Everytime after I socialize and I come back home I feel so anxious and the socializing moments keep playing in my head and make me feel more anxious. And when I go to sleep it’s the same thing, I can’t sleep because of that. Does anyone else experience this? What is that?

Aș avea o întrebare, va rog, pentru cei care au închiriat spații în mall-uri.

Sunt în discuții legat de o chirie într-un mall foarte mare, pentru un spațiu mic, până în 2mp, unde voi vrea să amplasez un automat.

Eu abia săpt asta dau comandă de aparat, care durează aprox 3 luni să ajungă în România. Nu am o dată sigură la care acest aparat să ajungă. 

Că să închei contract cu acest mall, va fi nevoie să plătesc 2 luni garanție + o luna chirie + încă ceva taxa. În contract se trece dată de începere a activității. 

Momentan scrie 15 noiembrie in contract, insa având in vedere ca producția aparatului va începe probabil peste vreo săptămâna si ceva, nu sunt 100% sigură ca nu vor fi întârzieri. 

Credeți că merită să dau acum vreo 2000 și ceva de euro să rezerv acest spațiu? Cei de la administrație spuneau că nu ne pot garanta același preț dacă vom face contractul peste câteva luni. Alte spații de amplasare cu siguranță vor mai fi, nu sunt 100% atașată de cel pe care ni l-au oferit acum. 

Voi ati semna contractul acum, inainte sa aveti aparatul?

I've started IF on the 10th of July, but only weighed a few days later, at 83 kg.

On the 24th of July I had 81kg and since then it's been fluctuating from 80.8 to 81.6. Today I'm at 81.05, yesterday it showed 80.9.

I'm doing 18:6, but most days I reach 19 hours. I am definitely in caloric deficit. Is it that difficult for the weight to fall off?

I'm especially interested to hear from people who lost weight over the course of several months or even a year, who didn’t change their diet (no keto, no low carb, only CICO).

I want to join a gym, but as always, I’m wondering what kind of exercises I should do. Whenever I went, I would start by walking about 30 min on a walking pad, then go to a bunch of machines and do sets.
I don’t really want to hire a personal trainer.
How do you plan your routine?

Last week I started IF with a 31 hour fast and after that I fasted for 20-21 hours daily. I eat a small amount of food in my window, I am definitely in a caloric deficit. I am in my luteal phase and just feel so horrible and bloated and the scale shows the exact same amount like in the first day.

Have any of you gone through this?

I feel like I'm doing this for nothing and I am feeling so sad.

When I started, I told myself that I want to commit to this for 6 months, but this week's experience is so saddening and I feel like I will never reach a healthy weight.

A few years ago we were living in a different city, far away from my family. We moved there because my husband inherited the house from his dad who passed away. At first it was ok, but then I felt so foreign to that place and was longing to move back to my hometown, but we already invested money into the house we were living in, for renovations, and most importantly, my husband was really against moving. But he told me that we can move if I can afford to pay the rent in my hometown, which I couldn’t. I have to clarify here that he was already paying the debt we had because of the renovations, so he couldn’t have covered rent as well.

So for about two years I wished and wished and nothing happened. In the meantime, I found a remote job that I liked and eventually got promoted. One day I was doing some math in my head, thinking how I could save money for us to move (we would’ve had to pay 2 months of rent).

So I decided then and there that by May we would move to my hometown (it was early January). I remember I was so grateful and happy that we would finally move.

A short time later, my cousin recommended me to my first paying client (the money I charged covered the 2 months of rent). The next thing that happened was that we ran out of water. We were living in a village so our water came from a fountain (yeah, I know😂), which was clogged with mud and there wasn’t a chance in the world that someone would come in the middle of the winter and dig. Plus it was super expensive. So that’s when my husband told me to search for rent in my hometown.

The incredible thing is that I found immediately a house (we didn’t want an apartment) in the neighborhood I most desired and I could afford paying rent with my new salary. We signed the lease and moved at the end of January.

I am amazed to this day by this awesome turn of events.
