How big is this fella?
This YouTube video is about 7-8 years old and says Malaysia. Never mind the vertical filming. This croc has to be the biggest I’ve seen on video. I’m not sure I’d go out on that dock either.
Not my video but damn..

Estate sale - looking at this group for $5
I’m super new to any action cam such GoPro / insta360. This is my first. I’ll be using primarily for MTB videos.
I ordered the new Insta360 X5 bundle that was on sale for $434 at Costco. Came with the invisible selfie stick, extra battery & 256GB mini SD card and seemed like a good deal. Now I need to learn how to use it. I don’t have a clue yet, but I do know I want to mount it to my USWE MTB hydration pack so I ordered their NDM 1 action harness.
I’m having trouble trying to figure out how the camera is going to connect specifically to the chest harness itself. I know the camera has a quarter inch tripod mount that I’ll need to get but then how does that connect actually to the harness itself it looks like it has some sort of slide clicking mount I’m guessing?
So I’m assuming I need two different adapters one which is the quarter inch tripod mount but then also some sort of other adapter that mounts directly to the harness?
TIA 🙂
Anyone have any experience with this particular strand for their emtb? I have a SC carbon Vala coming and don’t want to clamp the top tube or the post tbh..this looks interesting for less than $200. Just basic bike maintenance, chain lube etc
With prime day starting today - and Costco dropping their bundle price - is this the best deal going right now?
Looking to purchase my first 360 strictly for mountain bike riding content. I’ll need to figure out what amount to use… I don’t wear a full face helmet so I’m assuming some sort of chest MOUNT or Helmet MOUNT. But I ride with a Camelback always that straps across my chest to connect, so I’m not sure if that would interfere with the chest mount.
I just pulled the trigger on a Santa Cruz Vala C 70 - so excited.
It comes with the following dropper post below, which I don’t know much about… But I was thinking of having them upgrade it while they are building the bike at N+1 Bikes.
Is there another POST under a budget of $300 that might be a good recommendation?
Possibly looking at the one up dropper V3
This is what comes with the SC Vala C 70:
SDG Tellis Dropper, 31.6
Any other recommendations?
Is the standard dropper good enough to where I may not need to change it? I do use my dropper a lot on technical trails in South Florida on some technical defense and drops.
I’m close to pulling the trigger on a SC Vala C 70 - normal msrp $7849 but couple online stores have it 20% off at $6279
PR Carbon is $4999 “when is comes out - likely aug/sept”
Obviously the Amflow is super popular and much less but there is a delay and I’m a little concerned about support, potential parts delay, and rattling or issues with MS1 motor etc….maybe I am overthinking it?
Not in huge hurry but also don’t love missing all summer potentially riding a new emtb.
Currently riding ibis Ripley AF SLX 29’er which is probably above my rider pay grade. Rides soft but I struggle with the 29” wheels. Any emtb I get will 100% be mullet.
55M / 225lb rider in South Florida. Solo rider 98% of the time- riding mostly flat, green and black diamonds, drops, twisty single track with some punchy climbs, but no real climbing overall. Most riding is 1 to 2 hours every Saturday and Sunday with a short ride during the week after work. Most of my riding is in an anaerobic state 160 to 180 heart rate so I’m looking forward to the EMTB getting me into a more comfortable heart rate zone for longer rides. I do realize part of that is fitness.
I considered some other bikes but just not sure I want a 53 to 57 pound bike since I’m already a heavier rider might be a little more work around the trails just want something nimble and Poppy.

🚵♂️🚵♂️🚵♂️
I’m in the market for my first e-MTB. M55 6’, 225lbs. I’m never KOM or really worried about speed, I ride consistently down in S. Florida on mostly flat, tight single tracks with no real climbing….some punchy climbs that drag this old man’s HR into the 17’0’s lol. Not much jumping but hit most drops and can ride all blacks if no gaps.
I was considering the Amflow PR carbon but I don’t want to wait till the fall plus I read less than great things about delays on parts, etc. so I’ve started looking for other alternatives with the same motor. Currently on an Ibis Ripley AF SLX but the 29 front and back is not nimble at all which is likely more of a reflection of my average skill level, but I still think I would be a little happier on these trails on a mullet 29/27.5.
I was considering the Teewing Turbo Force XT from Drip bikes in Atlanta - the owner is super friendly and helpful, but they do not offer a mullet unless it’s the flux bike and that’s a big Enduro with a lot of travel that I think is overkill for my flat trails. They can make a mullet configuration, but it changes the geometry significantly.
I had also considered the Propain Sresh SL, but I do worry that being a bigger rider on a lower powered bike that it might feel sluggish and I may regret spending 6K wishing I had more power.
So I’m looking at the Ari wire peak 3.0 - it got great feedback from Sea Otter. I don’t know much about the company other than they are out in Utah, but I do like that It offers the Avinox MS2. It’s not officially out but you could put down $1000 fully refundable deposit and be towards the front of the line. It is slightly heavier than the PR carbon, but it does have a lifetime warranty on the frame. It also has a 30 day no questions to ask return policy. It comes in around 53 pounds. Most other bikes have generally gotten very favorable reviews.
My question is I would probably consider two of their lower in spec bikes… The sport or the comp the sport is 4999 and the comp is 5999. Wondering if I would be better off getting the sport and getting better forks and maybe shock I’m not as much worried about the wheels and I don’t know much about drivetrains just trying to figure out which would be the better value. Plus, I could go ahead and purchase the better components ahead of time and have them ready when the bike gets released.
What do you guys think? The sun tour don’t get great reviews just from my quick reading about them online. I don’t necessarily want to spend an arm and a leg on components because the hiring stuff is likely above my rider pay grade especially just doing a couple hours every Saturday and Sunday on mostly flat twisty single track but I would like to have better components without breaking the bank.
I also don’t know a ton about geometry. I know this is a pretty short chainstay which I assume makes the bike more nimble.
Thank you in advance!

Active listings for sale on EB: PSA 9 $10,200 & $4999 (I realize ask price doesn’t mean anything)
I’m 6’ and hover between 220-230lbs. I pretty much ride all single track, 1-3 hrs a session, 2-3x a week. No jumping but will hit most of the drops and most black diamond trails. Not super fast and not a lot of climbing here in Florida. I know the limit for the PR carbon is 275 lbs and with my camelback I’m right at that limit most days. Is that a bit too much for this frame? I’d love to have it but 5k on a bike I’m going to be hard on weight wise, day in and day out on makes me leery.
Last eBay sale I see for this is way back in July for $807… Obviously not a current value - I’m thinking of trading my Cooper Flagg ultraviolet PSA 9 as part of a trade for this big kahuna & Konnor Griffin Auto /150 but I just can’t figure out what current trade value is for the big kahuna… I’ve looked on eBay and several other sites. Just can’t find anything recent.
Any idea?
Have an offer to trade my Cooper Flagg ultraviolet PSS 9 (comp around 1800) and my Cooper Flagg rock Stars PSA 9 (500) +$200 for a Panini one and one 2024 vertical victor Wembanyama raw downtown #16 comp coming in around 2500. Im just having trouble assessing a potential grade value to the card. It’s just not my expertise.
Any thoughts? Looking mainly at the bottom left corner top left corner and maybe the left edge around the foot. Does it seem like this might be able to pull at least a PSA 9?
