Is this normal or infection?

Got my nose pierced 4 weeks ago.
This spot started making an appearance a week ago. Just before this spot/bump appeared, it felt sore in that location just like when you can feel a normal spot about to pop up on your skin. No pain or soreness now. No puss or smell either.

Been cleaning with saline solution.

Just wondering if this will go away on its own or if I need to do something?

No creative ideas. What things can you do to spark inspiration and creativity?

I have every single creative bone in my body EXCEPT for the one that can create/come up with designs and ideas. I can turn my hand to pretty much any craft, even if it’s something I’ve never done before, if there’s instructions or a picture of what something should look like then I can do it with little struggle. This usually prompts people to ask me how I could do something so well despite never doing it before, I just can, I don’t even think about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

HOWEVER, I cannot create anything from my own mind. I really struggle with seeing “visions” and coming up with my own ideas and designs. Even using Pinterest for inspiration, I cannot for the life of me actually imagine anything original and it’s so frustrating because all I want to do is craft and paint and create, but I end up with boxes of unused things because I don’t actually know what to make with them.

Give me something to copy from and I’ll do it. Give me a fully designed dress you want me to make and I’ll make it no problem. But ask me to design/come up with an idea myself? No chance

I really want to upcycle my clothes, but I have jean jackets in my drawer sitting untouched because I don’t know what to do with them. I want to paint and embroider on my jeans, but I can’t because I physically don’t have any ideas.

I would love to start drawing and painting, but I haven’t even bought supplies for them because I have zero ideas. It‘s not even a case of creating what I feel, because there is nothing in my brain, it’s empty.

I know how to sew and embroider (hand and machine), I know how to crochet, I can draw, but anything I’ve made has been from something either pre-designed or from a pattern, so I’ve created enough that I should have inspiration from things, but I’m at a loss.

Has anyone else experienced this?

What are some things that you can do to spark creativity and break this barrier?

How to clean nostril without irritating piercing?

Sorry, this post might be a bit gross.

I got my nose piercing on a whim 3 weeks ago before my holiday. On the outside it looks like it’s healing nicely, but I just know I’ve been irritating it on the inside.

Unfortunately, I didn’t think about the fact that I have allergies and blow my nose literally every day. Its not as bad now I am home and can manage them better, but what Im basically getting at is that by the end of every day, I have a thin layer of mucus sitting on the wall of my nostril, sometimes a little bit is dried. I just use a cotton bud to clean it out, but I know that’s not the best idea. I also get something dried up around the hole of the piercing which causes the jewellery to be stuck/not move, and I can’t tell if this is normal crusting, or dried mucus. it bled a little bit earlier when I was cleaning it, so maybe it is normal crusting, but I don’t know.

I just want to know how I can clear the inside of my nostril of mucus without causing too much disruption to the piercing?

What causes tooth decay/breaking other than sugar/what we consume?

27F. I don’t drink & never smoked.

I had two broken and decayed teeth. One was extracted in March (LL7) and the other needs the be booked in for extraction (LR6)

I can feel a crack in one of my upper molars (I believe this would be UR6) and I have a feeling this one is going to break soon.

I am worried that I’m going to end up with a mouth full of broken or missing teeth before I’m even 30.

The problem is, even my Dentist has told me that he doesn’t know what is causing the decay. Looking at the two broken teeth and my X-rays, he says there’s no pattern or connection between the two teeth that were decayed as the teeth surrounding them were fine. He said this is the first time he’s ever not been able to provide a reason for the tooth decay.

I do look after my teeth and I don’t know what else to do to prevent them from cracking or breaking. I don’t even eat hard or super crunchy foods anymore because of the teeth that were already broken and I don’t want to damage any others.

There is family history of bad teeth, my mum, my aunt, my Nan etc. all have lost/broken teeth. So I dont know if it’s something genetic or hereditary?

just thought I would come on here and see what other people’s thoughts are on what could cause tooth decay?

Evening

I’ve had problems with my jaw since I was at school (about 15 y/o). clicking, popping, if I slept on my back, my jaw would hang open and when I woke I‘d have to sit forward to be able to close my mouth, jaw would jam while eating, but mid-chew so it would make almost a cracking sound and a sharp pain temporarily. Also cold weather/winter gives me pain in my jaw and ear. I was sent to an orthodontist who mentioned it could be a TMJ problem, gave me one exercise to do and that was it.

The clicking happens mostly on my left side, but the popping and other issues is mainly on the right.

Fast forward to today. I’m 27 now, I don’t sleep on my back as much now so not had that problem in quite some time, and same with the eating issue, that’s not happened in ages either, but I stillI have the issues with clicking and popping, and the cold, but when I go to bed, my jaw kind of feels loose, like it just hangs to whichever side I’m laying on. It always pops when I try and adjust it and I just end up putting my hand and duvet under my chin to keep my jaw/mouth closed so it doesn’t move. I went to the dentist just over a month ago for the first time since school (yes a long time I know) It is a new dentist to where I used to go and he told me there’s nothing wrong with my jaw.

Thats fine, that’s what you want to hear. But 8 days ago, I woke up with my right side of my jaw aching and I noticed when I opened my mouth, the joint (right side only) pops out/protrudes quite a bit there’s an indent between my jaw and base of ear. Otherwise is normal.

8 Days later and it’s still the same and with aches/pain almost consistently since the moment I woke up in today. I’ve never experienced this before. I’m supposed to be having a tooth extracted on that same (not booked yet) side, but I think I’m going to have to mention this to my dentist before I book that in.

I’m just not really sure what this could be if there is apparently nothing wrong with my jaw? And I’m not even sure what to tell my dentist now
