Anybody Need PC Fans?

I have some extra 120mm PC fans that I no longer need. Six fans in total. The ones on the right use molex connectors to power them, so they are a constant rpm. The two on the left are out of a Lian Li Lancool case, and use standard fan connectors. I also have the mounting hardware.

Diorama Adjacent

Noy really sure if these count as dioramas specifcally, but I took my love of craftimg D&D terrain to PCs. Constructive criticism is always welcome! The first image is a build I did for a coworker. He really liked what I did with mine (2nd image) he comissioned me to do a build.

Initially I did my computer for heat management. Not a lot of airflow in a Tower 900 so I had to improvise. Used to be fairly basic, but something gave me inspiration to really get in the weeds with it. Each piece has a little stort. You vould ask me about any crevice and I'd have an answer on how it "got" there.

Recently felt the itch, and I'm currently working on my kids computers.

Has anybody else done any computer work like this? I haven't seen any on Reddit, but mostly you get the same white cases and an AIO. Thanks for checking it out!

Folks Like Jay Inspired Me To Do An Open Loop

I got back in to PC gaming in 2020 or so. My buddy sold me his Tower 900 with an 8086k. I ended up doing a delid and pushed it to 5.3ghz on air. It was a blast to do, and the cpu was still putting out pretty decent frames. But I knew it was time to move on. I did an AM5 build in June of last year, and wanted to do water cooling. Corsair pump and block, with an Alphacool 480 rad. Very impressed by the temps. During gaming sessions the 9800x3d averages around 50c, and it's so quiet.

Your case mods also inspired me to do some modding of my own! I used to almost have no fans on the inside. Bssically just the stock exhaust at the top. But the poor gpu (3060) would get pretty toasty going off the fan ramp. I ended up making some fan shrouds, which brought temps down 4c on the gpu. Eventually I leaned into my D&D terrain crafting hobby and made the shrouds into terrain. It's been an amazingly fun journey, and folks like you are truly an inspiration. Just wanted to say thank you for what you do!

Here are a few pictures from after I finished the last big project. I really like adjusting the lighting for the game I'm playing. Currently have red and white for Resident Evil. The third picture was for Subnautica 2. Thanks for checking it out!

Color Theme Ready!

Got the game loaded ready to go for tomorrow! Also went ahead and got my color theme set. I enjoy setting the RGB to match the color themes of a game. I usually go pretty broad, with two colors. I am working on expanding my horizons in iCue, so I wanted to do something special for a special game!

Subnautica was the first PC game I got since rejoining the club, and it helped really bring me into the world of PCs. Very excited for early access!

I wanted to really dive in to the aquatic theme, and how light diffuses with depth. Up top is the sun, with the ram being the surface or the water. Beams of light pierce through, and things get darker as you go down.

I hope you enjoy the build!
