If you're even thinking about using remote access in placements, read this first.
Just came across the news about the remote-access cheating racket that was busted. Honestly, it was a wake-up call.
A lot of people assume these things are impossible to detect, but that's clearly not the case anymore. Companies and authorities are getting much better at identifying suspicious activity, and once you're caught, the consequences can go way beyond losing a single opportunity.
If anyone is planning to use AnyDesk, TeamViewer, remote desktops, external solvers, or any similar setup during OAs or interviews, I'd seriously reconsider. Even if it seems to work once, it's not worth putting your degree, placement, and reputation on the line.
Just wanted to share this because placement season is around the corner for many of us. We've all worked too hard to throw it away for a shortcut.
Stay safe, prepare well, and earn your offer the right way. Good luck to everyone.
