Any thoughts on Trace Neighborhood?
Thinking of moving there by myself. Female. Wanting to feel safe.

My daughter is going to have all four wisdom teeth removed and the dentist/surgeon is using a new therapy called Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.
Is it worth it to spend the extra $345 or can she just skip it.
Is this worth the hype?
Your thoughts?
Money is an issue, but I would love for her to heal without any complications.

Hi all. My boy had been on Senvelgo for almost 2 years. After a while his numbers were wonky and finally did not want to eat. His ketones were rising as well.
Took him to an internal specialist then another vet that got him started on Lantus.
The vet wanted to start him on 2 units but I started him on 1.
It’s been a week and his numbers are not dropping (they did a bit on the first dose)
He is around 350 and still not really wanting to eat.
Ketones are ranging 0.5-0.7
Yesterday was a good appetite day but today not so much.
I’ll syringe feed him to make sure he is eating.
When should I see his numbers drop or am I not giving him a good dose?
Is it normal for them not want to eat if their BG is high?
I know it’s normal for them to want to eat a lot…
I have read a lot of posts saying 2 units is a bit high to start off with.
He is a little over 18lbs if that matters at all. 🐈‍⬛

My cat has been on Senvelgo for over a year. I had not been home testing until a couple of months ago. My kitty was 13lbs when diagnosed and was given the instruction to dose a 13lb dose.
He is now 17 lbs. I was advised by a group on a social platform to lower the dose.
I did to 9lbs.
Now that I am testing, The BG has not been regulated. Bouncing up and down.
His ketones have been typically 0.8/0.9
Had bloodwork done a couple of months ago and the cholesterol is quite high but everything else is good. (Kidneys, thyroid, pancreas)
He does need two teeth extracted and a cleaning.
Before I had lowered the dose and before I had been home testing his Fructosamine once 239 and once 293.
Now…his BG is always high before dosing and we just had a 1.9 ketone scare.
He is no longer really eating for two days.
He’s eating some low carb dry food and really anything I can come up with.
I’m also syringe feeding him for now.
I am taking him to the vet tomorrow to see about insulin.
Do you think that I messed things up with him because I lowered his dose or do you think the med is just not a good fit for him any more?
I’m feeling guilty.
