I hate this subreddit.
With a name and description like those, what do you expect to find there? Begginers looking posting their art and wanting advice? People posting artworks that have many flaws but you can understand they are learning? No. You will only find esxperts with years of work going "is my art good??? Glaze me plzzzz🥺🥺🥺" while posting the literal fucking Mona Lisa. Don't get me wrong tho, those artworks are fantastic and downright beautiful, I'd be lying if I said the contrary, but this makes that sub unbelivably beginner unfriendly in my opinion. Everyone new to the hobby who stumbles upon this sub will be disapoointed with themselves. I myself look at posts like "pactricing for 2.6 days" and see the images they post, comparing them to mine, and wondering why can't I draw like thar yet, and I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but how can't I when every single post I in this subreddit for begginers is not made by begginers at all? You have to look to see amateurish and even then there's almost no comments and upvotes, beacuse nobody wants to see "bad art" made by "bad artists". I looked at the top posts of all time ans saw a post where someone showed a posing practice, it was not great and could use some adivice, so the all the topcomments, naturally were ALL just better versions of OP's artwork in every singlr way, literally why??? To show them that their art will never be better than them and to show how good they are??
PLEASE show me some begginer friendly subreddits, this one is not that in the slightest.
