Always great and super dramatic when Stolas’s capes get some dramatic action in the wind. Stolas has good taste in fashion, especially with capes.

I absolutely love the animation in this scene. It creates a nice climatic buildup to the final Melon fight.

In the episode, the environment and the weather seems so more moody and tense from everything else this season. Between Louis’s tense confrontation with Oguma, Deshico almost drowning, and the drama club’s tension, the stormy, windy weather fits in well with this episode and is a really nice correlation to the mood of middle of the episode.

On a side note, I don’t know how Louis was able to walk all the way to Deshico’s lab in that weather and come out without his suit and tie looking completely windblown.

Meta knight’s cape always looked so graceful and flowy billowing in the wind in the anime.

Lucario’s aura sensors always looks so graceful and flowy when they are blowing in the wind. Looks like they start billowing around at the slightest gust of wind, almost like dog ears.

Louis looks so good in a suit and tie, especially in his shishigumi outfit. 🦌

I recently bought these Legoshi and Louis plushies and I think they look very cute.

Getting both of these only cost me about $90 after taxes so it wasn’t super expensive either for beastars merch.

Got myself the shishigumi Louis figure and it looks amazing. There’s a hole in my wallet but I’m happy with it.

The one scene where Louis takes a picture with one of his fans (Haru’s friend) was so sweet and honestly such an underrated moment in part 2.
I’d like to think that Louis is often really nice when meeting his fans.

Here is a colorized animation that I created of the climatic manga panel from chapter 190. I really tried to focus on the atmospheric effects in this as well as some subtle character movement. I hope you all like it. This was very fun and challenging to put together.

Sorry in advance for the goofy looking npcs. They were definitely the hardest to color in since I had very little pixels to work with lol.

I have been learning how to use adobe after effects over the past week and I tried animating one of my favorite manga panels from the series.

There are still a few things that I want to clean up and add to this (like blinking effects and sky movement) but overall, I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.
