Springtails in water feature
This is after a water topoff, they are everywhere in this tank lol

How significant would you say this crack is on the center brace? This is a used tank that is 55 gallons. I leaked tested it and have had it with water for 4 days with zero bowing or leaks
The tank is still new, hence the lack of tannins and the cloudiness of the water. Something feels off about the hardscape and I can’t quite pin it down, does anyone have any suggestions?
Any suggestions to improve this aquascape to be more authentic, specifically just the pneumatophores, there’s gonna be plenty of smaller branches, botanicals, tannins, and plants
I just got a new betta fish, she’s currently in my fully cycled 5 gallon paludarium until I get my 55 gallon tank setup and cycled :)
I am in the middle of making a riparian setup emulating southeast US cypress wetlands. However, I’m still trying to figure out what large riparian plants can work well without soil and with their roots submerged while still keeping the aesthetic you’d see in that biotope. Any suggestions? ( I’m planning on placing the largest growing plants in the back right behind the hardscape)
