BackupExec is gone. What do you think is the best alternative for tape backup?

Environment: Windows Server with single, standalone LTO drive

Purpose: Bare metal recovery from tape

Optional Feature: Backup to Internet storage, like AWS

Thank you in advance!

UPDATE: Although, CDW told me Backup Exec was no longer sold and the Veritas site now goes to Cohesity, Zealousideal_Fly8402, informed me Cognizant now owns it and still selling it. Unfortunately, I can't find any purchase information on their website so I'm waiting to hear back from sales.

ESP32 w/WLED strip flickering when connected to VESC power

ESP32-C3 running WLED to control two stock 13-LED strips in Onewheel Pint PEV. Each strip has a dedicated GPIO because they cannot be daisy-chained. ESP is 5v and I am assuming LED strips are 5v.

It works perfectly when I plug an AC USB C adapter (5v 3a) into the ESP. In this configuration, the LEDs are powered by and grounded to the ESP. It also works when I connect 5v to the breadboard's power rail to power and ground the ESP and LEDs.

The problem is the rear strip, which is furthest from the ESP, flickers when powered by my VESC controller. The VESC controller is a Ubox 100 (not lite) and I am using the fan port (12v 3a) with a 12v to 5v buck converter. In this configuration, the ESP and LEDs are powered by grounded to the 5v terminals on the buck.

Max amps I observed at the buck's 5v terminal was 2.16 and it did not fluctuate with flickering. Voltage was around 4.8 with all power supplies and also did not fluctuate with flickering. Lowing global brightness factor and disabling automatic brightness filtering in WLED did reduce flickering.

I welcome any suggestions that can help me stop this flickering.

Thank you in advance!

Problem powering LED system from Spintend UBox 100

I am building an LED system (ESP32/WLED) that needs to be powered by my UBox 100 (older model, not lite). The LEDs work perfectly when using an AC to DC adapter (5v 3a) and pulls 2.16 amps.

Spintend recommended using the UBox's 12v fan port so added a 12v to 5v converter and connected my LED system. Voltage tested about the same as the AC adapter but it is only pulling 0.99 amps and the LEDs flicker. It appears to me the flicker is the result of insufficient amperage.

What can I do to get my LED system flicker-free either from UBox or some other form of electrical trickery that will fit in a Onewheel Pint?

Thank you in advance!

Can anyone here attach a file to contact in Outlook for Mac?

I ask because Outlook Classic for Windows allows you to drag files into a Contact's notes section or choose "Insert > Attach File" from the top menu.

If you can attach a file to a contact, please let me know if you are using Classic/Legacy or New Outlook for Mac and how you did it.

Thank you in advance!

How do you disable Two-Step verification for Outlook.com?

It started prompting me every single time I open Outlook.com in every browser on all my computers so I turned it off at account.live.com. It has been over a week and many, many deletes of my entire Edge and Chrome User Data folders but it is still prompting me even though it clearly shows it is turned off. How do I really turn off Two-step at Outlook.com?

Does anyone else have this problem after "turning off" Two-step?

Thank you in advance!

UPDATE: I am very sorry for posting here. I was hoping someone would help but it is all rage bait. If anyone cares, have isolated the problem to chrome-base browsers and will continue troubleshooting in a more constructive, better moderated forum.

Reverse engineering AC system

Previous owner replaced the original AC so I don't know what size it should be but it seems very loud at the main return, registers are whistling when partially closed, and humidity is still high after sealing attic/crawlspace. It is bigger than the concrete pad the home builder made for it. I'm thinking PO put too big of a system in and/or fan is too powerful.

1324 sq ft split foyer in Eastern Maryland, USA

Main return is 10x24 with five 6x14 returns,

Stack above fan/condenser is 18x20 with thirteen 4x10 registers around house

AC is Goodman 2.5 ton/1000CFM split system

Please let me know if you think this is fine or what you would do to make it better.

Thank you in advance!
