okay so i'm in a pickle

i m engg student, looking for a laptop able to handle ML models not very high end and not as of now but in upcoming time

i have about 3(2 frankly) options at hand

1. LENOVO LOQ
   rtx 4050 6gb
   512gb ssd
   16gb ram
   i7 13650hx

2. HP OMEN
   rtx 5050/5060 8gb
   1TB SSD
   24gb ram
   intel core ultra 7 255 h

i did my research and i have found that 4050 gpu can handle most of the ML tasks, and i am wondering if 5050/5060 omen will be an overkill for my usecase

should i spend about 20-30k INR(211-317 USD) for the omen or just go with the loq

i need the laptop to be functioning decently for ATLEAST 3-4yrs

but then i read that campusx covers statistics and probability but one needs some knowledge of probabilty and statistics beforehand for CS229
