The “Market”

Anyone else sick of dealerships saying the market says this vehicle is worth “x”. When you bring up the fact it’s been sitting on their lot for 120+ days they dismiss it like that means nothing. Had a conversation with a GM yesterday that said “we’re $2k below market value priced extremely aggressive!” I asked him why then has it been sitting on your lot for 160+ days? Do you guys actually consider the economy and fuel prices or do you hold onto your fantasy market? At what point do they wake up or have we as consumers screwed ourselves by overpaying for too long?

This isn’t a case of you can’t afford it - I just can’t justify overpaying for something bc the “market” says it’s priced fair.

Is the AT4X worth the $ over the ATX?

Trying to decided between the 2500 ATX4 & ATX. Just looking for opinions and feedback on if the extra money makes the 4 worth it.

Scumbag move

Friday I drove 4 hrs to a dealership I had negotiated and agreed to an OTD price. Sent all the documents I needed to and it was agreed when I got there I would check out the truck I was buying and then proceed to sign the preprinted paperwork. Well after I test drove and was ready to proceed they hit me with “oh the other manager misquoted your trade and we can only offer $2000 less”. After 10 min of back and forth and them refusing to honor their deal I got my keys back and drove 4hrs back home without the new truck. So after they dinged my credit and the manager refusing to come talk to me face to face I’m empty handed and back to square one.
