this is an anoectochilus, and it’s from tc. i had a few other jewels from tc and they all suffered from stem(?) rot and a few didnt make it(all in sphagnum/perlite i microwaved for a few minutes, have them a short bath in physan solution after opening the bags) the stems became translucent floppy and yellow-brown, roots didn’t exist, and some dark brown spots. in one of the dying jewels cups some kind of blue mold grew on the sphagnum. acclimated them a few months ago
this one is growing a new leaf and a root, but theres this spot of rot that ate away at the stem. it’s not progeessing, but i noticed today that the stem is wilting. it was tucked in sphagnum that was kind of slightly dry but not really. i’m not sure if i should cut the rot out cause im scared that the cut spot would be infected and the entire plant would die.
has anyone experienced any sort of this kind of rot on their jewels?
the character im drawing is a teenager, and the anatomy. some thing isvery very off but i have NO idea what. i tried drawing back in the torso and pelvis but that didn’t help me, prolly cause i did it incorrectly. anyway if anyone would help me i would be very very thankful because this is driving me fucking insane
i have procreate but it doesn’t have a tweenjng feature and i do NOT a want to continuously pay for an alight motion subscription. i’ve heard about toonsquid and procreate dreams. it has to be a mobile app avaliable on ios
im desperate. i need to see when i last used an account on a game app, but the issue is that i’ve used the app again multiple times. there should be a good 1-2 year gap between the 2 uses, but is there any way to see specifically which dates i used the app?
also, are ludisia the only common genus that have the thick stalks?
has anyone used brownie plugs for jewel tcs? someone told me to use them due to the fine roots and said moss was more difficult for acclimatiom
today i had some jewel tcs arrive today from the green escape, and the paper says to remove the tc from the bag ASAP and the sooner you remove them the higher chance of survival it has. but my tc supplies(fungixide, brownie plugs, the seedling tray) are not even shipped yet. some people said that brownie plugs are better for jewels because of their finer roots. i
should i unbag them asap(no fungicide to soak them in and improvised pots)? is sphagnum or fluval better? or should i wait until my supplies arrive?
