Digital Forensics Tech exemptions

Greetings, I hope all is well! Long story short, recently got my Masters in Digital Forensics, and I also have received an opportunity for a digital forensics technician role for a local LE agency. I am just wondering if anyone here works for one, and also what to expect, as I myself come from an IT support background. Thanks!

Edit: Expectations, just realized I made a typo in my title

IRR as RDSO time

Hello all, hope all is well! Current situation is I commissioned back in May of 2023, signing a 6x2 contract. I started my masters program in December of 2024 and just finished my last course. I know that incurs a 4 year RDSO, but I wanted to gain clarity to see if that would change my current progression, or if IRR counted as time as well, as I planned to transition into the IRR after my 6 year obligation. Thanks all!

MRI results interpretation

Greetings,

I hope all is well! Im new here, but found this group from doing research. Long story short, I have been having ongoing issues with knee pain, which has worsen post college. After rehab, it has led to no change and I was referred to get an MRI. Here are the results below. I will be discussing with my orthopedic that referred me, but wanted to see on what to prepare for.

FINDINGS:

There is slight lateral patellar subluxation is slight lateral patellar tilt. There is mild grade fissuring caudal half articular cartilage lateral patellar facet.

No significant knee joint effusion.

ACL is a small structure notably there is been a remote ACL sprain. No evidence of any recent ACL injury..

PCL is intact.

LCL and additional structures of the posterior lateral corner are intact.

MCL is intact.

Extensor mechanism is intact.

No medial or lateral meniscal tear identified.

IMPRESSION:

Mild chronic lateral patellar subluxation with slight lateral patellar tilt. There is what appears be mild grade fissuring caudal half articular cartilage lateral patellar facet

Remote partial tear ACL. ACL is a small structure. I believe there is been previous sprain of one of the bands of the ACL. There is no evidence of any recent ACL injury I don't see any evidence to suggest ACL instability on MRI currently. This is clearly chronic.

Greetings all. I am currently a First Lieutenant in the National Guard, and honestly since I have contracted in college, honestly just have not had a positive experience. One inconvenience after another, and the now role of having to play the "Politician", I feel like I have joined for the wrong reasons, as I have wanted help to pay for school, even though I did not end up being able to get the scholarship and had to enlist as a cadet to get state funding my senior year.

Truthfully hard to stay motivated, and with me now beginning to start growing in my civilian career, I feel that the guard in general can get in the way career wise, as well as some parts mentally, if I am being honest with myself. I am currently 3 years in my 6 years of RDSO, I am wondering on how soon anyone has started the process of getting out/going into IRR, as I have to be in IRR for two years to fulfil my contract.

Curious on if any other fellow officers or former officers been through this process, or if anyone has any insight to share. Thank you all for reading
