Hi guys, i've been a very casual FG player ( except for smash ultimate, i've put 2k jours online ).

I never really dived into a fighting game lately, and i have the itch coming back.

I need some advice to choose a game to invest time, and i've never really statisfied from what i tried.

What i want: a clean ranked mode. I click ranked match, wait an opponent, and fight. Tbh, i cant deal with a character i need to sit in front of a tv and wait for an opponent to sit by m'y side. A small detail, but that piss me off.

I'd like to avoid 50 dlc character at 5 euro each ( looking at you SF 6 ), but i can accept a few dlc ( and maybe profit from the summer sale rn on steam )

No tag fighting, i waited years for 2xko but ended hating it for having to control 2 char at the same time.

I'd like to avoid small player base game, i'm not asking for millions players, but a relatively big active community.

I dont like Tekken and MK

So is there any FG i can dive into with this ? Thx for your help !

Hi every one, i played Albion for few days long time ago and i enjoyed the journey until T5 zone, i would like to try again to see what the game has to offer.

BUT

I'm a solo player and i know that this game is build for group at a certain point.

Unless i make friends in a guild, i'll be enjoying 99% of this game solo.

I have a few questions, that will help me décide if i jump in or nah:

- i like dungeons in mmo. I'm a wow vet, i like m+. Is there some high end dungeons activities that can be a good way of making profit in end game ? I remember early dungeons with group of 5 where you drop ressources for crafting gear. I heard about the PvPvE dungeon in the open world but im not sure i'll enjoy this. I would enjoy farming for a good build that i wont loose in an instancied pve only dungeon.

- i like the island and the housing associated, can we have our own crafting station at some point where you dont need to use city's station ? I want a big island with everything i could need. Is it even possible for a solo player to have a full maxxed island without spending years farming for it ?

- does the "solo enjoyable content" end with dark zone? Where i see that only guilds and group of players are there.

- how deep is the pve only content ? Considering dungeons, and open world activities ? I dont mind being a rat and avoiding pvp at all cost with a build designed for it.

Can solo players around here give me their feedback about this ? I really think Albion is a great game, fact is, i have no friend soooooooo

Aujourd'hui je me suis interrogé sur ce choix de mots qui m'a fait réfléchir un instant.

L'homme du couple bénéficie d'un mot conçu avec une sémantique proche du mariage. Il change de statut et devient marié, et donc le mari.

La femme du couple par contre, elle reste la "femme". On ne l'identifie pas en tant que "mariée" du couple.

J'imagine que c'est un vestige d'un ancien temps encore très dominé par le patriarcat, ça créé presque une notion d'appartenance de la femme auprès de son mari, mais peut être existe-t'il une origine à ce choix que j'ignore ?

En réfléchissant un peu j'aimerais vraiment pouvoir me réorienter vers ce domaine, mais l'accessibilité est un peu floue...

J'ai déjà une licence en biologie végétale, et une licence pro ou j'ai pu bien toucher à R studio et j'aimais vraiment ce côté programmation/data analyst en lien avec la biologie, et j'aimerais réfléchir à me reconvertir à fond dans ce domaine.

De ce que j'ai pu observer, les prérequis sur les annonces varient énormément et il y a plein de termes confusants et d'intitulé de formation pas clairs.

Au vu de mon parcours, est-ce que vous connaissez des formations, peut-être plutôt courte (2 ans max ?), ou des masters pas trop sélectif vers lesquels je pourrais m'orienter ? Je serais curieux d'avoir des retours d'expériences de ceux qui bossent déjà dans ce domaine ( salaire annuel, conditions de travail,etc...)
