I took his Span10 last semester and he was very kind to our classmates. We almost all got 1.0 sa class.

No midterm, 1 final and the rest of your grades come from homeworks and 1 class work kaya very unoable.

He might seem intimidating at first pero I wouldn’t go as far as what people here are saying. From my experience last sem, he was very easy-going naman and every class was fun and nung finals nilibre nya kami ng shakeys. Yung mga activities namin very simple tapos yung final exam madali lang rin (and super generous niya sa bonus points as in i got +20 nung finals)

Ang mahalaga lang naman sa kaniya is that you participate in class discussions and as you should naman in every class. Dun lang siguro siya nauupset (pero di naman siya naninigaw or aggressive or anything like that) pag walang nagrerecite pero yung class kasi namin puro bibo kaya every meeting was light lang.

Wala it’s upsetting lang na people keep pulling vids from him from years ago without even meeting him now. People change naman. How dare you ask for reform tapos still pass the same judgement when he actually tried to improve.

Maybe give him a chance and actually take your Span10 para matapos na rin. I’d recommend his class sa mga nag tetake ng Span10.

But in all seriousness, i left my old college with a GWA of 3.0xx (Engineering) and went non-major for a year. Bagsak sa Math 22 twice at sa COE Majors 😔

This year i got accepted into two UPD colleges (S2) and in UPM as well as T1😭 grabee sobrang laking relief and worth it yung 1 year ng pag-eexplore ng gusto mo talaga gawin. Of course this is the last resort (may VSO and direct shifting) pero if you’re truly having doubts about your course, as a sucessful non-major shiftee, take the risk!

Andaming pending sa CRS sana naman mag extend yung UPD to give time rin for registration advisers, departments, and OUR employees time to process enlistment and enrollment matters

If sabi sa page 2 ng curriculum na “suggested electives are …” does that mean my past electives (courses na 100+) are not counted and yung nasa list lang na yun yung credited?

I’m from BS FLCD and I’ve taken a few courses na may 100+ sa course name (ex. STAT 101, Lingg 110) but i don’t know which electives will be considered under the elective count of our curriculum…

anyone know a list of these FLCD electives or just how to know 😭 thank you

Crazy low GWA, Non-major for 1 year, so many breakdowns because I thought I had no future and no chances to continue in UPD. Pero today, I got an email that I got accepted into a new program.

Mind you my GWA is LOWER than 2.5 and I was from COE kaya this means so much to me😭 Kaya if you’re non-major and feeling hopeless this is your sign! don’t give up!! And never stay where you think you don’t grow.

My ex isolated me from the world for 7 years. I had no friends and social media, just him. He became my boyfriend and only friend. Now that I’m older and gotten the courage to leave the relationship, I’m trying my best not to go back to that relationship because I’m so lonely. I tried getting back on social media but no one seems to care and I have nobody. This is so hard for me and all I do is sit all day in my room and try to get out of the house but still just by myself (to distract myself), but at night it kicks in again and has taken a toll on my mental health (besides other problems I have). I can’t bring myself to date either because I can’t make any connections and I’m scared my abusive ex would see me on a dating app and try to bother me again.

This is so draining man.

Anyone here planning to shift to VSB? I checked the requirements and they’re not even asking for a TCG, if you didn’t take either BA 99.1, BA 99.2, BA 114.1, or BA 114.2, you’re automatically disqualified or not allowed to apply ba???

It’s shifting season and I’m shitting bricks since people will be passing their requirements soon… I know it’s very competitive but I’m hoping and praying I get into a college after a year of being Non-major. My mental health was so bad (break downs everywhere) when I got rejected sa lahat ng colleges last year since I wasn’t non-major nung nag apply ako. This is my last chance since my parents said if I don’t get into anything I’ll have to leave UPD for good and move on.
