According To Hardware Experts The PS5 or PS5 Pro May Not Be Able To Run GTA VI At 60FPS
According to a recent report by Digital Foundry, Grand Theft Auto VI is highly unlikely to run at 60 FPS on consoles, including the upgraded PlayStation 5 Pro. The bottleneck comes from CPU limitations rather than the GPU. While the PS5 Pro features a significantly enhanced graphics chip capable of pushing higher resolutions and better ray tracing, it retains a nearly identical Zen 2 CPU architecture to the base console. Because GTA 6 relies on intensive simulation elements, such as complex AI, dense NPC crowds, realistic traffic, and heavy physics, the processor simply won't have the headroom to handle 60 frames per second, likely forcing a locked 30 FPS or a compromised 40 FPS mode.
