I'm a bio major. I came from a small school in a state with horrible education, so my biology before college was basically none. I find it so interesting but holy cow I need to know how to study. Absolutely bombed my first exam. Its just a general bio class, so it shouldn't even be that hard.
I'm going to a concert soon. I'm new to Utah and only moved here a couple months ago. I don't live in SLC, but the concert is in it.
Anyways, I'm planning on taking the bus up to the venue. The venue is called 'the complex'. I didn't realize that Utah doesn't really have overnight buses, though. I'm not sure exactly when the concert will end, but it might be after 11.
If I had to wait at a bus stop until 2am, would I need to be worried? Could I get a couple hours of sleep at one or would I have to stay up the whole time? Does anyone know how shady this general area is?
Edit: Looks like I'll just be leaving a bit earlier if my show doesn't end in time for the frontrunner. Thank you to everyone who gave me advice! I feel like a fish out of water in a city 😭
Obviously haven't rehomed it yet.
Ask me anything about my job/ how stuff works/ how we were treated at McDonald's!
Still pretty rough (tho I'm proud of the background ngl)

Right in the middle of rush... 103 dollar order. Another like 60 dollar order came from another person right after it. We were understaffed 😭
Basically the title. I've been a crew trainer for several months now. I recently trained someone in window and he was very, very bad at it. I've trained people before and they do fine but this guy just could not get it.
Anyways, I feel like I do too much showing of how to do it and help too much. I know I should probably be less hands on. But when I go less hands on to try and let them figure it out, some people just don't get it and go to me for help, even when Ive been helping for like two hours and have shown them how to do it. A week ago I had to train a guy on fryer and grill all while I was working table. It was super busy and he just wouldn't do stuff without me telling him to do it.
Obviously theres something I could be doing better to train people. Any tips?
Only in Oklahoma, though!
I hate the ai overview so much.
The timing of those events are unrivaled and I am amazed.
In my dream I realized it needed more dirt so I added more of that later lol
She ordered everything at the speaker...I was confused cause she would say, like 'Five dollar nuggets... Four dollar fries... Three dollar mcflurry... Two dollar mozzarella sticks...' (i had to tell her we don't have those here so she got fries instead) + the #7. It came out to like 29 dollars. She goes to pay and she tells me that the nuggets should be five bucks... this should all be like 15 bucks... I'm confused so she shows me the picture. It was DURING rush hour so I don't have patience and I just immediately grab my manager who had to explain to this pissed off lady that we can't do that. She got rid of the mcflurry and paid. Lmao.
Censored out names for obvious reasons. I think 'literally everything goes wrong' is gonna be on my next one for sure tho.
I (17F) went to the dentist today about it cause the filling (redone cause I had pain with the first filling) still hurts after 8 months. He asked if I'd used sensodine (I have been) and said it looked fine. He told me I could either get it redone or just leave it be, as some people are apparently more sensitive to fillings and basically said that there wasn't exactly anything he could do as everything looked normal.
The pain is pretty bad. I don't chew on that side of my mouth at all, as chips and any hard stuff cause pain. Do I just accept my fate that it's always gonna hurt or do I go to another dentist? Feeling a little frustrated that he kinda blew me off about it.
Im planning on getting a tarantula soon. It'll be my first one. I want to give it the best care I can. Im looking at getting a redknee tarantula, probably 1.5 inches. Im gonna get the enclosure from Tarantula cribs (6"x4"x4") I don't know what kind of hides to get and what size they need. Can people give me links to products they like or use? Im worried I won't give it the best life it can have
Just a little sketch. I drew it up while listening to Confrontation from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. This song fits her so well. I don't draw super often sooo

(No! Deep inside-!)

Would anyone be interested in reading it after I get the grade back for it? Also, any ideas on how to help stop misinformation from circulating?
