Me and my BF are going to Atlantic City tomorrow via train, so we have to transfer at Philadelphia 30th street station to the AC NJ Transit line. Because of the limited train schedule, we're set to return to Philadelphia station over an hour before our Amtrak train back home, and we're taking the Palmetto which is coming up from Florida so there's a chance it may be delayed even more.

If we have over an hour to kill, any suggestions on nearby gay bars or hot spots we can check out for a bit? Quick Google search doesn't show anything within walking distance but we don't mind a quick Uber.

After Autumn won the Bonus Round, the captions showed a completely different line versus what the redubbed announcer (believed to be Marc Elmer) said. The captions said, "Autumn, you're making West Virginia proud. Here's...". The announcer says, "Autumn, congratulations. You've just won..."

The original line is very likely what Jim Thornton said when the episode taped, as Jim is from West Virginia. Autumn's interview earlier in the show also implies that Ryan originally brought Jim into it once he learned Autumn was from there, but it was edited out with an obvious audio splice in Ryan's dialogue. When Autumn says "Yes", you can see her nodding in the direction of Jim's booth.

Today’s episode has already aired in Canada (it airs at 3:30 PM Eastern on NTV), and the show’s format has reverted to having two Toss-Ups and the interviews at the top of the show, instead of the new Fortune Frenzy and the interviews being after Round 1.

This is not permanent. They have not changed it back. WOF never tapes the weeks in the order they air. Season 44’s first two tapings were May 18 and 19, one week after Ryan taped the American Idol season finale, then production took a summer hiatus. The season premiere week was taped third on August 18, and this is when Fortune Frenzy was added to the show.

The first two taped weeks (plus their compilation week episodes if they had any) used the previous structure. One of those two weeks is this week, Words with Friends week, which taped May 19. Next week, Canyon Spirit, taped August 19 and will return to the Fortune Frenzy format. The week of October 5-9, Wheel Loves LA, was the first taped week on May 18 and will use the previous format.

Fortune Frenzy should be permanent on October 12, barring up to two episodes during a compilation week (though I doubt Words with Friends will have a compilation episode since most sponsored weeks don’t).

Was driving past Richter Park around 10 PM last night while Mary Poppins was going on and a firetruck was outside and an ambulance was approaching with its lights and sirens on. Anyone know what happened?

Flying out of JFK this week with both carry-on and checked luggage. I have this rechargeable taser. The battery cannot be removed without disassembling the whole thing. What is the best way to pack this, if any?
