Bought these two.

Bought these two.

I wanted an opinion if this was a good deal I made or not. Bought the spiderman one for my son and the 30th anniversary one for myself. I might get rid of one of the normal controllers I already have.

There was also the TLOU limited one but I had a feeling these two were better and more sought after. Bought these for 85 dollars both BTW. Do you suggest I also buy the TLOU limited edition too cause it might get sold soon, or wait? Thanks.

I've finally completed the game.

As a lifelong jrpg fan, for me it was a mixed experience. I've forced my way through some parts of the game but wanted to finish it because it was a FF game but it didn't feel 100% like it.

Did all hunts, got the final weapon, did all sidequests.

Cons:

  1. Very simple weapon and armor craft. 2/10

  2. NPCs weren't very interesting. 2/10

  3. Sometimes the dialogues went on and on to the point that I skipped all sidequests dialogues towards 3/4 of the game. 5/10

  4. Combat was simple and you could beat anything by spamming abilities and potions but they were also fast paced, flashy and well done even though it was pure action. 6/10

  5. I expected a bit of a better and more engaging story (mimus some parts), though it was well written. 7.5/10

  6. RPG elements were almost totally lacking. 2/10

  7. I expected more during the Odin battle. 7/10

  8. Some sidequest were boring and basic. Go there, do this, go there, talk to that, then talk to someone else, beat a monster.

  9. Magic was really lacking. You just pressed triangle and he shot some fireballs from his hands. No big spells.

  10. Elemental damage and weakness was lacking.

Pros:

  1. Some characters were well written and dubbed. For me Gav was the best character and then Cid. 10/10

  2. Battles were flashy and beautiful. 8.5/10

  3. Abilities progression was very good and the fact that when maxed out, you could put them and use whatever you wanted. 10/10

  4. The strongest PRO for me was when you transformed into the Eikon and battled with them. 10/10

  5. Bahamut and Titan battles were amazing. Before them, I was thinking to drop the game but their dominants and the dominants story were well written and battling against them felt amazing and kept me going (that's why I was a bit dissapointed in the battle against Odin. It wasn't at the level of the previous two... albeit splitting the sea in half was really badass!) 10/10.

  6. Ultima... I liked Ultima since he appeared the first time. Menacing, calm, well written, voice acting was amazing, dark, very good design. It had really the aura of a final boss. Easily top 5 for me.

  7. Clive was a fitting protagonist for a FF game. 10/10

TL;DR: FFXVI is an incredibly beautiful and cinematic action game with amazing Eikon battles, music, abilities, and a few fantastic characters. But as a lifelong jrpg/Final Fantasy fan, I missed the depth of a proper RPG game and jrpg mecjanics , meaningful gear, party customization, strategic combat, and especially a real magic system. Great action game, but a somewhat disappointing Final Fantasy jrpg for me.

A 6.5/10 for me for a FF game and a 8.5/10 as an action game.

What is this... I just woke up, opened the game and I'm in a completely different alliance.

Edit: Got back in the alliance.

It says:

Alliance Removal

You have been moved to a new alliance.

What? Why?

Any ideas for Floor 19 Blade Omega Tower?

I've seen some suggested teams. Currently I managed to kill 3 enemies with Exalted + Apocalipse (instead of Morph, and exalted are not really built except Wolverine which is T20 lv 105. All others are lv 100-105 and tier 19) and it's impossible to do it. I have other built teams and characters as you may imagine since I'm at this floor but don't want to use any other team that is a must for further nodes. If you have some advice, please do tell because this floor is driving me crazy.

I started this game for the first time.

I'm a big jrpg fan. I've played a lot, including FF games where my favorites are VI, VII, VIII and IX from the PS1 era and X from the PS2 era.

I tried also VII remake (I have in plan to play Rebirth too) and even though it was not turn based I liked it a lot. Never tried XIV because of the online thing and played XV for about 20 hours but something made me drop it.

I'm maybe 10 hours into FF XVI. It seems kinda OK but something isn't right and I can't put my finger on it. It seems the battles are short, the towns are empty, you talk to some people here and there,.there's a shop and a blacksmith.

I mean, in other jrpgs or specifically FF games even when you talk to a npc twice, the 2nd time they have another thing to say different from the first time. Here they say the same thing. It's not this that bothers me, but it says how much love and effort is put in other titles from 10 or 20 or even 30 years ago.

The world feels a bit empty. There are no hidden places to find hidden chests with weapons or armor or magic so far.

So... what was your experience with this game. Did it become better after a certain amount of time playing?

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated because I want to play it and maybe the only thing that keeps me going is the story...

I'm trying to buy the current battlepass but I can't

I'm aware that there is a problem with the battlepass (not sure which the problem is though), and I was thinking to buy it (19.99 dollars) because it will give me some resources to level up the latest team, and to progress in the Dark Dimension with Blue Marvel. But it says payment is unsuccesful even though I have money in my DC. I am not a spender. I'm FTP, I bought only once since March 2018. Anyone knows if the problem I'm having is due to the problem that the battlepass is having in general?

Thanks in advance

Just finished Chrono Cross and this game definitely deserves a remake for the modern consoles

23 years after playing it the first time when I was just a little kid. It brought back so many memories. Amazing game, soundtrack, bosses, spells etc. I didn't even remember the latest parts of the game. It was like the first time for me for so many areas. And the fact that it has so many characters, interactions, spells, armors, weapons etc makes it absolutely amazing. Let alone that you can play the New Game + and recruit other characters and do things a bit differently.

On modern consoles, a remake would be one of the best new gen turn based jrpgs.

Everything has changed so much and so fast.

We were happier back in the late 80s, 90s and a bit in the 00s. Everything had colors, bright beautiful different colors. Cars, houses, shops, everything. The air was cleaner. The water was purer. The food was tasty. The rain was ''rainer''. The sky was bluer. Days were beautiful, nights were magical. The music was infinitely better. Movies were much better. Videogames were made with passion. People loved each-other more, they were nicer. We went to our neighbours houses and stayed for hours, talking, joking, laughing. Life felt slower and full of meaning.

Yes, it might be a bit of nostalgia but it's not just that, right? Now everything except your own family is... empty. Buildings are grey. Music is sh*t. Conversations are shorter. Attention spans are broken. Everyone is connected to the internet but disconected from reality. And I'm sure everyone feels it.

Everything is programmed to be at this point and to other darker (I hope not) points in the coming years. The more the technology evolves the more we devolve. Dead eyes. Forced smiles and smirkes. We are zombies.

Where did we go wrong? Why did we let them do this to us? How do we get out of this for the sake of our children, or there's no more coming back now? And if we are like this now, how will we be 10 years from now? With a chip inside our brain, eating chips while sitting in a sofa and with a dirty yellow tanktop in darkness watching TV reaching for that soda.

The future scares me. It scares me because so much is happening and we're powerless to stop it. So the question is... what do we do? How do we stop this, or are we doomed?

The dinosaur game "Dinosaur Life".

So, my 6 year old son loves this game, he loves dinosaurs in general. He has those free dinos that the game already has which are not powerful and always other people playing live have the best. I know that they cost lots of money and tbh I'd rather spend those for other things which are better for him at his age. But also, I want to see him happy and wanted to ask if there are promotions or free dinos to get (other than those already in the game), or other ways to get them. i already found and used the codes for the coins but him being just a child, he spends them to grow his dinos and not to keep the coins to get the better dinos. Thank you in advance.

This is for all the haters, for all the non-Arsenal fans that wanted us to lose or draw. Clear foul.

It's not just the first pic. There's also the second one where Raya's shirt is being pulled. That's what made the refs award a foul. And spare me the ''There were other Arsenal players holding WHU players in the box.'' The only thing that matters is that the foul against Raya happened before the others and it's where the ball is landing so it's the foul that counts. It's what the refs said.

Villa is in the final. Palace is in the final. Good!

Both are excellent news for Arsenal and EPL football in general.

  1. If Villa wins the Europa League while being fifth in the EPL (assuming that Liverpool would be top four), Bournemouth and Brentford will fight both for a 6th place enter UCL. This means they'll fight tooth (EDIT: typo) and nail with City to get as many points as possible. Villa has a direct match with Liverpool 3 days prior to their final. Of course they'll fight for a top four spot because the final is not guaranteed to be won by them but still they'll have on their mind the final against Freiburg.

  2. We already know about Palace. This means that in their final game against Arsenal, they'll rest their first team because their final against Rayo Vallecano will be 3 days after the match with us.

1st pic from the Premier League official website.

2nd pic from Connor Humm.

3rd pic from Google Search.

What do you think about the referee and the VAR?

Personally I think that Arsenal, as UCL finalists and potential EPL Champions, should win this game even if the referees are biased (not saying they are).
