Kinda losing my mind trying to make out the position of the pelvis based on landmarks in back view

Mainly orienting myself on external obliques and the posterior iliac spine. Is the position in the top right accurate? The shadows make it look like the muscles are almost running in a straight line along the back. I think I'm just confusing myself here.

Learning to draw heads through loomis, does this look right?

I feel like the ellipses on the sides of some heads are either too small or too big, or does that make little difference?
