My tenant left this amazing rock behind in southwest Montana.

Soda can is for scale. The crystal pieces scratch when I use metal. It weighs a lot. I am far from an expert, but I would put it anywhere from 4-6 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, tho I didn’t try scratching glass with it, but pretty sure it could.
Thank you!

Could these be baby (young) owls? There were three of them.

I live in central Denver and we have Western Screech Owls (thank you guys - I believe you ID’d them). This spring we got to see two mate and now these guys came up to my patio. They look like baby owls? Maybe baby screech owls?

Tinted the front windows and replace the bright blue valve stem covers.

The ceramic tint is amazing because it really helps with the sun. Keeps the seats from getting excruciatingly hot. The valve stem covers are a little thing but I love them.

My dog seems to have injured its tail and I’m not able to get her to a vet until tomorrow. Could it be a symptom of something more insidious than a tail sprain/bruise?

Circe is a 4-yr-old spayed dog weighing 45 lbs.

History: Yesterday we drove 9.5 hours and she was in the backseat with a harness hooked to a doggy clip-in seatbelt strap. When we arrived at the hotel late in the evening, I noticed her tail was laying flat, when normally it sits higher. While pooping the base of the tail goes up normally, but about a third way up it droops, when normally it bends up.
All I can think of is at one point the seatbelt strap got wrapped around her tail or something. But this is only a guess because I saw nothing of the sort and I never heard her yelp or in any way express pain.

She is extremely wary of me touching her tail, but I carefully felt it from the base to the tip and didn’t notice swelling anywhere on it. (But I don’t know what I’m feeling for also).

She is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping normally. She seems lethargic and sad (that’s the best way to put it) I called every vet in town and no one has openings. I will be driving her to an emergency vet tomorrow - I am unable to do so today.

I’m sure this is some kind of tail sprain, but could it be an indicator of something else? I will cancel my plans (the reason I drove so far) and drive her to the emergency vet right now if there is even a remote chance it could be something bad or life threatening.

She is my 5th dog, and I have seen it all, but this is concerning me greatly because she is just not herself. Thank you for reading this.

I live in the city of Denver where owls aren’t common (or should I say it’s not common for me to see one). He lives in my neighbor’s tree and has a trilling type of a call. I call it a purr-hoot.
I’m know these pictures aren’t great, but I’ve seen you guys identify birds from a drawing before!

I would love to have a lush green yard like this one and others I see, but following restrictions during a drought is more important to me. Plus, then I’d also be an A-hole.

I was so excited to find this because I know eventually that giant space in the center console will become a mess.

The cover is excellent too - fits perfectly and looks like it was made for my interior.

I got both of these on Amazon. It’s not letting me add a link so I’ll link them in a comment below.

Does Michael’s corporate do things specifically to make our lives harder at work? ELEVEN of fifteen items in this order didn’t have images. So far I’ve yet to see a Jonathan Adler image either.

Also, I’d say at least 50% of the items I’ve picked today won’t scan. I have to confirm and then type in the item number. Argh!!!!
