Found this guy flattened in a space where I keep books.
Please god, let it be something random and not roaches.

Red/mildly bumpy floor of child’s mouth one side

Can someone identify what seems to be going on in the circled region of the photo? Appears to have some tiny bumps. Child is 7 years old, no significant dental or health issues, says it hurts when she presses with her tongue.

Thanks

Anxious about walking past a fire in someone’s yard

Edit:
Thanks for your replies. I see now that this much smoke is not a big deal.
Those of you that are mocking me is fine, but in all seriousness I am alone with a child and nobody else to care for us and I have a lot of anxiety of getting sick and or injured and leaving her with nobody. That’s why I started freaking out.

Original post:

Hi, is the level of smoke pictured here enough to cause me serious harm?

We are having a heatwave in my area. I have a young 7 year old child, we parked at a library. The house behind it had a bit of smoke coming from the backyard. I walked somewhat closer to the gate in the picture to see if there was a fire or someone back there before I called 911.

Am I in danger?
