Visiting Udaipur soon — looking for local recommendations & transport help

I’m visiting Udaipur soon and would love some recommendations from locals or people who’ve recently been there.

What are the must-visit places, hidden gems, and genuinely good local food spots that I shouldn’t miss?

Also, I don’t have a driving licence, so I won’t be able to rent/drive a scooter or car. What’s the best way to get around Udaipur should I use autos/cabs, hire a local driver, or is there a reliable local guide who can show me around for a day or two?

If you know any trustworthy local guide/driver or have any personal recommendations, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Went on solo date fr

Pata hai aaj ye hua

I decided to go on a solo date today. Nothing unusual, just me enjoying some good food and a peaceful café. I was actually having a great time sitting by myself and minding my own business.

Then, out of nowhere, the café started playing "Channa Mereya." 😭

I know it was probably a random song from their playlist, but the timing was so perfect that I couldn't stop laughing. For a moment, it genuinely felt like the staff saw me sitting alone and decided to set the mood accordingly.

The food was great, but the unexpected soundtrack made the whole experience way more memorable than I expected. 💀
