Buy R1T used or lease new R1T?

I’ve read a million posts and know that if buying I should focus on maybe 2024 or late 2023. OG Quad Launch could be a good bet too because kinks likely have been worked out.

But I am scared of the age vs price of these trucks. Yes, I know it’s still a stellar deal if I pay 60-70k on a truck with 1-2 year comp warranty as they cost 80-100k new at that time. But I also read about the nightmare repairs and how we don’t know how they will hold up. Reading plenty of current owners who are planning to offload before 5/60k warranty is up because they are nervous about pricey repairs.

So…what’s the deal? Just gotta take the gamble and hope for the best?

Anyone driving a Rivian with a lot of miles and doing ok? For reference we are driving 16 and 18 year old Toyotas and we drive them into the ground- in Colorado so driving the passes a bunch or going on some mild off road to get to trails but with a bunch of dirty gear and dirty dogs so that was my hesitation to lease.

Where to stay for biking

It will be our first time visiting Cape Cod in early June and we would like to explore it mainly by bike. We will need to rent bikes as we are traveling from Colorado. We are very active and bike regularly so would love to stay somewhere that is relaxing (B&B would be great!) and has decent spots along the way to grab lunch, pop into cute shops, grab dinner. Will have a car. We were going to maybe day trip to MV but nothing else really planned. Thanks!

What would this be worth?

I’m sad to say we moved in a new home and this rug does not fit in any of the rooms. Believe me we tried. I was wondering how I would even begin to find out how much to list it for? It was a family heirloom so has some minor stains that could not be removed with regular cleanings. Would hate to see it just sit in storage so I would love it to be enjoyed by someone else.

Stuck on paint color for this living room but was leaning towards a muted green or a sage green and then adding fun wallpaper on the back wall to separate the bar area/dining room. Open to ideas though as long as the answer isn’t white walls. Dining room will have live edge wood slab table with the blue chairs.

Also will take fun ideas for 2nd chair (Barcelona to balance the bulkiness of the other chair?) vs just 1 chair and a drinking table and a coffee table.

Thanks!
