How do you feel about the use of shields?
Happy Friday everyone, I was wondering how you guys feel about using shields as part of the load out.

So like I know the reason the vampires and other super natural entities have their veil of secrecy is because they know humans would hunt them to extinction if they knew they existed, but hunters including entire organizations working with the government and the church exist so why don’t they just reveal that vampires exist? I mean it’s not like the various coalitions care about collateral damage so why not announce “hey there are vampires grab a wooden stick and some holy water”.
I’m personally more on the team that thinks she kicked it, but I couldn’t help but think back to her having this conversation with Marcus, plus every other death via werewolf has been FAR more brutal.
I’ve been watching the anime and it kinda made me think of something, living in caves with only fires to heat them, how many people would’ve died from disease or famine in the tsukasa group?… honestly I’m shocked they even survived the winter to begin with.
I know in the episode Speaker said the rooms were subtly designed for the players but did anyone else catch hints that the rooms were once used by the D family? At the very least D himself? It’s a room where there was clearly a sword on the wall with horse shampoo in the dresser plus a dead body stuffed in the ceiling! Along with that there’s the room that has a normal bed and a race car bed which could be for Door and Boy, then finally a room with a sega genesis that would be good for Marcus. They even say the former tenants were likely vampire hunters.
Was this meant to be obvious? I thought it was a cool reference.
Can someone explain self defense to me
The mods of legal advice deleted this and sent me here so hopefully yall can help.
Currently I’m not in any legal trouble here in good but I’ve been thinking about something I’ve heard that’s been bugging me. There’s a precedent that when it comes to defending your home against a home intruder, or really in any self defense situation, it is better for you legally if you kill the assailant or robber rather than wound them in order to ward them off since the robber or attacker can sue you for injuries. This feels a bit too wacky for me because why would the law encourage the use of lethal force. Plus there’s the whole stuff with “appropriate force” or whatever so like
Main question in 2 parts
Explain self defense to me if someone broke into my house and was trying to rob me
Explain self defense if someone was threatening me in the street.
Assume I can magically manifest any means of defending myself because I’d also like to know what tools would change my case, like would defending my home with a gun be different than a broom handle.
Stand Name: 「Dracula」
STATS=
POWER: D
SPEED: B
RANGE: A
DURABILITY: D
PRECISION: C
POTENTIAL: E
Reference: Dracula by Tame impala
Stand User: Abara Cadabara
a shifty, more reserved individual who can’t handle exposure to the sun. He is very neurotic and super uptight about being correct and will act irrationally whenever he is incorrect about something. He acts very calm and shy otherwise.
APPEARANCE: Dracula appears as 5 wind up teeth with bat wings and vampire teeth. Their wings give them the ability to fly.
ABILITY: Whenever one of the 5 teeth bats bites down into someone, they will stick themselves in their until they are removed. Once they bite someone, that person will become vulnerable to the sun as well as bright lights. Exposure to sunlight will cause their skin to quickly burn and even burst into flames, however any clothing or whatever they touch will not be harmed. The amount of time in seconds that the teeth are attached for will equal how long the effect will last in hours.
I’m aware there would be many similarities and the modern Olympics likely wouldn’t change much, but I’m curious what you guys think would happen if say China or Japan created this international event.
