Kosher meat is animals slaughtered in a way that reduces suffering, right? So doesn't that make animals killed by being shot in the head okay to eat?

I'm Jewish, but only by blood and culture, so I don't have a full understanding of kosheriety (I know that's not a word, but it is now). A close friend of mine moved to Israel and became a hassidic rabbi. On one of our occasional conversations, we discussed this. But this was a long ago, so I don't fully remember.

Anyway, isn't it more humane and painless to just shoot animals in the head? If guns existed back then, I think that would be the thing to do.

The movie Hancock makes me cry, despite being an action comedy. Spoilers.

It's the love. Seeing the look of secrecy and love in her eyes, and the sadness he feels thinking he's alone. I know it's acting, I know that's not the point of the movie. There's just something real in that, and it's so sad for some reason.

I was always a little empathic, but not to an extreme. Just a little more empathy than the normal amount. I was in an accident, coma, everything. After the accident, I became SUPER empathic and it's kinda really embarrassing, I cry at fucking comedies. Just sentimental scenes, or mostly happy scenes, I feel the overwhelming feelings they portray.

But Hancock, there's just something about the characters. I don't even like Will Smith (but the actress playing the other one

I think a rule of official debate (like gov't and stuff) should be to write a short essay picking out their understanding of the other side's evidence

To ensure it's real-time answers, you'll have like an hour or something to complete it. AI can be used to clean up broken speech and stuff.

Non-official too! Just,,arguments in general..

Besides being gross, is there actually anything wrong with incest (if no kids are made)?

Not asking for me, I think it's gross and I don't have a sister, but I'm just curious what you all think.

This world cup is SO stereotypical. Scottish people with bagpipes drinking all the beer in Boston, Nordic people viking-rowing all over the place, Japanese people cleaning the stadium.

I really don't mean to be offensive, I just think that's really funny. I'm not really following it that much, but I wonder if other cultures are living up to their stereotypes. If not, it's not that funny I guess.

This is just a passing thought, not a theory: what if the majority of autistic kids' parents were on drugs (particularly pharmaceuticals) and that's what causes it.

Maybe even weed too TBH. Doesn't it affect the millions of little people chilling inside my balls? (I couldn't think of the word sperm, it was on the tip of my tongue, but I remembered as I finished writing that). D'oh.

Not specifically autism though, just, like, retardation (I'm using this word in a scientific context and not as a slur (god I shouldn't feel the need to say that)).

Anyway, what if brain shit is caused by parents getting high on pharms their doctor decided to try out, or smoking weed 24/7 like me, my little guys are most definitely gonna be retarted (NOW it's a slur)

But I'm all seriousness, just a thought. I don't know, I assume there's research into this and I wasted 15 minutes typing this and trying to poop. Okay, bye.

Maybe she's a cat and/or a fish =/

Maybe she's a spice: zest and delish

She could be real, she probably is,

Who really knows, will it be sorrow or bliss?

Will I get a slap or a kiss?

"out of luck" or a fuck? Will I be free or will I be stuck?

I have a feeling I am dealing with a "real you,"

I see through.

To prevent myself from leaving,

To get rid of constant fearing,

To start believing, trusting feelings,

Confusing lust, or love, with dealing,

I must first rise to the ceiling

Inevitable fall, how deceiving.

Still falling, but "something stopped him!"

Something soft at the bottom.

"All right folks, we got'im"

After the hurricane, I'm in pain.

Now I'm sober, now I'm sane.

I sit on my sofa, alone and, just, tired.

I am back where I started.

It's as if I haven't departed :(

Quantum immortality. What if thought influences things to happen. A connection??

So look, supposing quantum immortality is real; if a bunch of slightly different me's happen to imagine a similar outcome, that influences the probability swing thingy in one direction, increasing the possibility of something like that happening. Whoa.
