Are we not all Rowan?

Man alive, when she took not one but two rotisserie chickens home, I felt seen like I haven't in years. And good on Brooke (and family) for instilling some sort of thriftiness in her.

Rowan may not be clamoring for the spotlight, but her little vignettes each episode amuse me and I hope they keep her around next season (even if only as a friend of).

Today, in hard choices...

I always see these "choices" posts and I never find them "difficult."

This morning, while my house was still and I could rot my brain in peace, I tried to come up with a list of Bravo choices that I, personally, could not easily choose from or even answer.

I'm curious if anyone has a strong opinion, or can find the obvious answer I'm clearly missing...

I want nothing more than for the McBee's to have a reunion.

I know that won't happen, but it would be so interesting to have someone moderate a conversation between everyone.

All the Allie stuff aside, I really want to see JR and his brothers have to answer for their confessional content. This past episode, hearing Jesse admit that Steven's ideas are generally a bust was an interesting comment that I'm sure hit hard and I'm curious of any fallout...

Amanda told on herself.

When watching the scenes from last week, she was posing as upset that Kyle was out while she was upset thinking about how this was "their last night in the apartment together."

Ma'am, if you were earnestly working on your marriage, it would not have been your "last night" in the apartment with Kyle. This would have just been a break.

Amanda knew this was her final night with Kyle and she obviously wanted something (to get in one last fight, to actually have a good night, to get him to open some mail for her, I don't know what specifically....) and she was just mad she didn't get it. Kyle, not seemingly realizing his marriage was over, didn't view this as their "final night together."

I'd be less irritated with Amanda if she wasn't so sloppy with all her behavior (nope, that's a lie, I'd still be irritated).

Dr. Dre's thoughts on Michelle's emotion for Jesse.

I am absolutely tickled at the idea that Dr. Dre could be sitting somewhere, rubbed the wrong way, watching Michelle get emotional over the end of her marriage to Jesse.

Also, completely unrelated: does anyone think that Michelle's current (Dr. Dre) and Jesse's ex (Anna-Nicole) ever crossed paths in the 90s? They were both huge in their own circles and pop culture, and there must have been an MTV Awards show or TCBY opening or something they both attended, right?

Such an odd convergence of 90s pop culture, and it all swirling around Michelle and Jesse? The mind reels...

Where was Brittany's boyfriend during/after her surgery?

I don't recall his name (I'm sorry, I did not find him compelling enough to commit to memory), but I'm curious where Brittany's boyfriend was while she was having her surgery.

If the surgery was serious enough for a meal train to be prepped, you'd think he'd be involved in her aftercare.

Stretch theory re: Jesse

I preface this with: I have been enjoying the beautiful weather in the northeast today, and my ability to fully convey this idea may be...inebriated.

Ok, so we know that heading into this season, Jesse and Ciara considered themselves to be very close friends. And given his closeness to West, it's natural to wonder how much Jesse may have known or intuited about Amanda and West before everything broke.

Is it crazy to assume that some of Jesse's jackassery earlier in the season was as a means of putting Ciara off West and helping to soften the inevitable blow once news of West and Amanda's dalliance broke?

Specifically, could Jesse asking West if he'd be cool with him pursuing Ciara--and West's subsequent 👍--serve as a way to distance Ciara from West further? Whether Jesse was actually interested as well is kind of moot, so I don't want to pay much mind to that aspect of this scenario. It's not unreasonable to think that, if West approved of Ciara being with Jesse, Ciara would read that as West being fully closed off to something romantic. Then Jesse would be in a position to give Ciara the information she needs to move on, even at the risk of taking a hit to his friendship with her.

I get that this is a long shot, but if Jesse had some inkling that Amanda and West were messing around, I would absolutely believe he would try something hairbrained to save Ciara from hurt.

If you have read this far, thank you for humoring me!
