[TOMT] [INSTA] [REEL] - Michael Stipe in Restaurant

I just saw an Instagram Reel (Animated) which was Michael Stipe in a Restaurant and he's saying "That's Me In The corner" but I didn't see anything else? It looked like it was a viral animated Instagram Meme!

Couldn't finish the whole joke/sketch and wanted to send this on to someone? Has anyone seen this?

Sole Trader - Business Name or T/A Name - Which should I use?

I've recently set up a business account for my Sole Trader work and I've got an account but i've set the business name as what I call my Sole Trading Company (it's not registered with Company House it's just what people know me as)

Should my Buisness Name be my personal name and then I use a trading business name which will be XXX t/a Sink or Swim Promotions or does it not make any diffrence?

Do you speak or even know your Neighbours?

I had new neighbours about a year ago and I when I had someone round they asked how my Neighbours were and I said "I've never actually spoken to them, ocasionally I chuck the kids football back over the fence, but that's all"

I couldn't even tell you there name, how many kids they have etc?

Looking for the name of I film I watched on VHS as a child, here's what I remember

- Was an American Film which was released on VHS ( I think I rented the VHS in about 2008 from the secondry school library) - Think it might have been released by Village Roadhsow or Warner Bros in about 2001?

- Was a Documentry about Rodeo / Cowboys

- Remember it being about 2 hours long and was rated I think PG in the UK

What's everyone favourite UK 00s/10s "Indie Landfill" band?

So do you have a favourite? Maybe a band which shouldn't be demoted to Indie Landfill or lost to history?

Pete and The Pirates? Cajun Dance Party? The Enemy? Magic Gang? Tellison?

Went to the 17:00 showing of Minions and Monsters at my local Odeon and...

I had the screen (the largest one in the cinema) all to myself!

Absolute Bliss 🤩

Tax Deductible Expenses for Business?

Hi - I run a small music promotions company based in the UK.

I Book artists to play shows in the UK - As part of the booking there's normally a contract with a rider (Technical Equipment, Hotel Requirements and Catering (Dinner/Drinks/Snacks) - I'm presuming this can all be Tax Deductible as it's part of the business requirements to function?

Paying Money from Personal Account to Business Bank Account - Sole Trader

I've recently had to set up a business account as I'm now taking enough payments and paying enough invoices that my bank account has now flagged this, so here's the question?

I Get paid a Salary through my Job (£XXXX) but I use the excess spare cash I have in my Bank Account to run my business (My side hustle is promoting local and international touring bands), sometimes I'll make a loss (Due to expenses, band's fee / rider etc being more than I make back in ticket sales)

When I was just using my personal account it wasn't an issue because I always had money in this account (from working my day Job)

I presume I can just transfer the money I need from my Personal Account to the business account without any implications here as I'm a sole Trader?

Paid for a week's parking via APCOA in UK but car park was shut due to resurfacing

So I paid in advance for a week's carparking as it was cheaper than purchasing the 2 days needed. I paid for the car parking on a Wednesday and actually just needed to park from the Friday-Sunday

When I arrived on Friday to the car park, I noticed that it was shut to resurfacing so had to pay out for a different car park

I've reached out to APCOA support about 3 weeks ago and am yet to recieve a response?

I presume as I was unable to park for the stay and there was no notification in the app about the car park being shut I should be entitled to a full refund?
