Earlier, when I got my minor passport made, all my documents were correct and there was no issue, yet I still ended up paying ₹3000 during police verification at Fatehpur Khakhreru police station.

Now my passport is going for verification again, and I’ve come to know that no payment is actually required for this process.

So what should I do this time? Should I pay again if they ask, or refuse?

Would appreciate genuine advice.
