Can trapped gas make gerd worse?

Since I was a teenager(25 now)I feel that I've always dealt with trapped gas in both my stomach/throat as well as my abdomen. Recently I've been feeling sharp pains all over my chest, stomach, and back because of this and noticed that my reflux always seems to get worse when I can't pass gas. It's always been a huge problem because no matter what I do nothing works. And I hate to say it but I feel like there are some days where I don't fart at all. And because I have eoe gas gets trapped in my esophagus which makes things worse.

Does anyone else experience this? What could I do to relieve this gas pressure? I still haven't found out what causes my gerd so I was wondering if this could be a problem for me.

What can I do for a flat joint?

So I've been going through treatment for a good while(started in 2024)and while it has made such a huge difference to me my joints are unfortunately flat due to years of grinding. My left joint in particular is the worst.

I did have a surgery(mandibular advancement)in 2022 which kind of reduced the popping but sadly the damage had already been done. And truthfully the surgery just made my muscles tense and put alot of pressure on the joints.

But I was wondering what I could do for joint support? My treatment has helped so much but it also moved my jaw in a position where the joints crack often and I'm scared that they'll get even worse. My dentist mentioned that some people get their joints sanded to round it off but I don't know much else. I would really appreciate hearing y'alls experience tho.

How should I clean this?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I was diagnosed with EoE last year and I'm allergic to either wheat, dairy, or eggs. Knowing this my grandmother decided to give me one of her bread makers so that I can make my own bread. However she's already used it once or twice. Now the part you put the dough in can obviously be removed and washed but the insides cannot and it had some flour in it as well as a few oily spots, probably butter.

So I was wondering how I should clean the inside just to make sure it won't cause a flare up for me. I'll admit that I still have alot to learn about food allergies but I want to make sure that everything is cleaned properly before I use it. Would a normal disinfectant wipe be enough? Or is there something else I should use?

Sorry again if this is a silly question. I'm not sure if cross contamination is something that could bother me and I'm a bit nervous to use it since I'm still having issues swallowing and I don't want to make it worse because the machine wasn't clean.

"Hounded me for days"🙄

So I made a post yesterday about a seller that lied about my item being canceled/refunded after she said that she would be able to ship it the day after I messaged her.

And THIS is the response that I get after the review I left because she decided to ignore my message and not ship the item. I kindly asked if she would be able to ship my item since depop was giving me until the 11th for it to be shipped and by the time I sent that message she would've had around 4 days to ship it.

How did I "hound" her days before shipping it when all I did was ask for an update and tell her that I didn't receive a refund yet??? Is it that hard to ship the item that YOU decided to sell online?

The funniest part about this tho is her saying "I will never sell to you". Bitch why would I want you to sell to me when I know that you can't be trusted???😭Make it make sense. I can't stand sellers like this on depop. I don't think I've ever had an experience this bad before. And ofc she blocked me after my review all because I wanted to warn potential buyers of her dishonesty.

I'm so irritated by sellers like this

So I purchased a jacket 10 days ago for a really good price and after feeling a bit worried yesterday I decided to send a message and ask for an update. They start off saying that they didn't know and that they'll ship it the day after just to semd me a message the next day saying that I've been refunded and that the order was canceled. Like no, it actually wasn't refunded and no one has canceled the order! I'm so tired of sellers doing this shit. I bought two other items and one seller is doing the exact same thing and then the other just straight up messaged me saying that they don't know how to create labels and ship items. Like figure it out or don't sell things online! At this point these people aren't even trying.

Is flonase safe to take with gerd?

I decided to get some flonase because I also have EoE and heard that it can help with the esophagus, however I just saw some people saying that flonase can trigger acid reflux. Is this true? Has anyone here taken flonase without making your gerd worse?

Gerd or obstructive sleep apnea?

So I just want to start off by saying that I've had jaw issues since I was a teenager.(currently 25)And in 2024 I went to a dentist that diagnosed me with obstructive sleep apnea. Basically when I sleep, especially if it's on my back, my tongue and jaw falls back and chokes me. So I sometimes wake up coughing with a very dry throat feeling like I have to throw up. There were also times where I couldn't breathe well and would gasp for air. This has been happening looong before I developed gerd.

Now my question is this. Since I often do this while sleeping on my back more often than not, what could be the cause for when I'm not? For example last night I laid on my left side and stomach and woke up with the same sensations two different times. Could it be that my gerd caused this feeling rather than my sleep apnea? I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

Does anyone else ever think about that study? I feel like it comes across my mind so many times a day. Most articles on it are several years old without any updates but what I would give to have a medication that could reverse my allergies. I'm so tired of this illness and worrying about what I eat.

My sweet little boy was suddenly diagnosed on April 30th with chronic renal failure and by May 1st his health rapidly declined and he had to be put to sleep. I just don't know how to get through this loss. In the past I almost lost him twice due to urinary issues that damaged his kidneys(although they did heal afterwards)but after PU surgery in 2022 he got so much better.

I have no idea what to do with myself now that he's gone. He was the absolute sweetest boy you could ever meet and everyone who met him fell in love. He loved belly rubs and to play with his crunchy taco toys and be held just like a baby. And when his mama wasn't around he'd cry until I came back. He was the best shower buddy and he always made me laugh during my bad days.

Making the decision to end his life after being told that he was in pain and that he was past stage 4 renal failure and could never recover was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make. And I hate myself for making it because I just miss him so much. May 9th would've been the sixth year that I've had him. He was originally at a kill shelter and meant to be put to sleep but the rescue I adopted him from saved him. I'm so grateful that I got to be his mom but I don't know how I'll ever be able to move on from my baby. I'll miss talking to him in funny voices and the clumsy way that he walked. I'll miss everything about him. Even when his allergies would get bad and how he'd throw up in the shape of a question mark and could never puke in just one spot. I'd do anything to look after him and take care of him again.

If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it so much. My heart is completely broken...
