WWs real?!

I'm starting to think wake windows are a lie, not completely, but not fully true.

I was very focused with my WWs based on my boys age, however life gets in the way and sometimes he was up 1/2 to an hour longer. Id spiral as I hated him being overtired and he 100% got cranky.

We went through some terrible regressions of no proper sleep and I was asking reddit constantly for advice. Some worked some didnt. But now im finding myself questioning wake windows. I never put my son down earlier, only ever later as I dont want to force him to sleep before his ready, however the last two days the timings weren't working out so I just tried it. And he went, no stress, no pressure, just a peaceful feeding and then sleep. These WWs have been like 3 hrs. Sometimes 3hrs 15. But everything I read says 3.15/3.30/4

Since not being that arsed about timings it looks like its working better.

Idk, does anyone else feel like this?

I understand there is truth in a wake window because of babys needs to sleep but im now questioning the exact timings people are saying

Naps, bedtime. Please help again!

I asked a couple weeks back about my babies routine but he's still struggling to go to bed at night. He's 13 months, I was told to cap his 2 naps down to 1 hr each, but hes crying so bad when I cap them, so hes been having 1.5hrs and 1hr but he still fights bedtime up to 1.5hrs! Surely half hour added on his morning nap wont cause that???

Its making me miserable, I love him and try so so hard not to lose my temper and my partner has to take over just so I can scream into a pillow in private lol.

Please help me, again 😭

Caravan bed?!

Im going away in 2 weeks. Im worried about the sleeping setup.

My boy is 13 months, hes been walking for 2 months and now even running.

Im unsure on what to do about my holiday? I dont know if the bed will be soft or firm, what should I do? If hes so active does it matter as much now he's 13 months? I don't always Ccurl anymore becuase he just rolls all over the place now. I still keep my pillow away ans blanket. But Im worried about the matress.

I was going to put it on the floor in the caravan, bring a waterproof cover with me and my own bedsheet, but what else?

Fighting bedtime

My boy just wont go to sleep. Hes recently turned 12 months and for the last couple weeks he's taking nearly 2 hours to go to sleep. It doesn't make a difference what I do. Short wake windows, long wale windows, dinner early, dinner late. Full feed, feed to sleep. Motion, singing, quietness. Literslly nothing will work anymore.

Sometimes hes sleepy and just keeps waking but hes very tired other times hes fighting for hours and crying. There seems to be no link.

Im suffering here, im at my wits end. I partly want to just leave him to CIO but I know id never do that but the rage I feel when he wont sleep burns through me. I'll never get angry with him or take it out on him but holding it all in is stressing me out big time. Im not showing this stress for the first hour so I know it isnt that keeping him awake.

Please guys I really need some help

My partner and I only booked our venue in January, we're getting married Sunday 13th December. As times gone on im just not excited, I have no enjoyment looking for anything remotely wedding related. We are both sometimes too laid back and make drastic decisions 🤣 we were originally gping for a registry office and church hall.

The venue told us we'll lose 2.5k unless someone books up our venue, then its only £500 we lose but thats a big big risk!

The registy office is available and the church hall might be too. Itll potentially be an August Wedding! I can't be bothered to pay for a dress. I just want a cheap cocktail one now. Hair or makeup.

Am I just being lazy? Is it a big risk?... those of you who went small were you glad?
