Neurogenic TOS specialist in Australia??

I am looking for a neurogenic TOS specialist in Australia. The only one I have found so far won't budge on doing botox first. I do not want botox as it's a neurotoxin and will worsen other conditions I have. I can no longer raise either arm.

Any suggestions on who to see? I am prepared to travel, so location in Australia isn't an issue.

Neurologist failed to think outside of neurology

I think I have come across one of the worst neurologists who completely lacked common sense but also lied in their assessments. They said they could find no objective findings, yet I have had tests through the correct professionals who all found objective findings. When their so called testing failed to find anything they said your symptoms are weird maybe it's functional. Which I rejected. However they sent their thoughts to several of my doctors!

Anyway my weird symptoms are in fact a hypermobile SI joint which has made my legs feel like they would give way and caused bad balance issues but also when I do movements that anger the joint I get searing nerve pain down my leg and the back of my hip. It also pops when I get in the car.

Is it common for neurologists to not think outside of their box?

What are the symptoms?

I have had varicose veins since I was a teen in one of my legs. 5 years ago I developed strange discolourarion around my ankles - reddish/purple colour that kind of looks like tiny veins. They are increasing year by year and do not hurt. I also have chronic tingling in my legs, especialliy the one with the varicose veins.

Are these familiar symptoms for insufficiency?

Breach? Medical records

If anyone works in the medical field and can offer some insight as to what my rights are, that would be great. HCCC reportable or a violation of the privacy act?

I saw a private specialist for a specific issue that required logging into an imaging site to view my images for their opinion. This specalist did that but after the consult accessed all of my imaging for other issues dating back 5 years, took note of those doctors then in a letter to my gp brought up issues I had seen the others doctors for and cc'd all the other specialists in. I have never come across this behaviour before and i'm quite shocked, it's a huge invasion of privacy.

Muscle guarding & c spine instability - why don't neurosurgeons understand it?

My neck has been unstable for quite some time resulting in immediate muscle guarding by the scm muscle, now I can't raise either arm and have developed full reversal of the cervical lordosis. TOS is suspected and one arm has nerve impingement visible on imaging. When I lost the ability to raise both arms last year it reduced the neurological symptoms including severe swallowing issues I get from the instability. I can understand because it's my body, the arms/muscles are blocking the excess movement of my neck as a protective action, but neurosurgeons don't get it.

I don't know how to get them to understand, they want me to have injections in my shoulders which will take away that protective action (I'm not getting them done).

Multiple compressions, not possible FND

I saw a neurologist some time ago who did basic bloods, a basic neuro exam and emg nerve test on my legs. Because my symptoms didn't fit their understanding and were weird in their view they noted in my records possible FND! They ignored my longstanding history of compression from a traumatic event to my spine that resulted in chronic SIJ - sacroiliac joint dysfunction and spasms when I try to do sit ups, or anything below the waist, which perfectly explains my symptoms. On top of that upper body symptoms which are also all compressions and Atlantoaxial instability. I was later diagnosed with all of these by other specialists.

I fired him due to outright stupidity, however recently another specialist who thought I was still seeing this neuro obtained their notes then cc'd other specialists I had seen in the past saying the neuro noted I may have FND. I have no idea why they did this as it had nothing to do with my appointment which was for upper body compression visible on an MRI. Great way to ruin my medical records.

What's up with doctors handing out a possible FND diagnosis with minimal testing and ignoring a clear history leading to the symptoms? These were sudden onset and don't come and go, they are a permanent fixture. How did you all get rid of the FND or possible FND diagnosis on your records?

SIJ instabilty put as possible FND!

I swear I came across one of the stupidest neurologists who ignored my history and put in my record that my SIJ instability causing nerve compression could be FND. I had severe SPD in pregnancy and things were never the same since in my SIJ, then I injured it 4 years later which has caused spasms with any lower body activity (bending etc) and the joint popping. This doctor also tried to put my upper body symptoms as possible FND including imaging of my discs collapsing which resulted in a vertebrae fracture 4 months later! I have numerous MRI's and neurosurgeon reports stating multiple upper body compressions. Great way to ruin someone's medical records by ignoring key structural causes.

Has anyone else had a similar thing happen? I'm feeling pretty angry. This is gaslighting to the extreme.

Where to put a stock loss in the profit and loss form?

I am filling out my 2nd profit and loss form. Where do I put a stock loss? Is it under variable expenses - other? I am trying to put it there and it is saying that I have made a profit despite putting - (negative) in front of the lost dollar amount.

I wish this form had more instructions, parts are quite vague.

Can we stop using bond cleaners please

If you are able body and in good health, do your own bond clean. This has become such a scam area charging outrageous prices that are well over award wages for professional cleaners and most don't do a good job then have a violent temper tantrum when their work is put under the spotlight. Not only that I think many renters are hiring cleaners out of fear when it is not law and it allows bullies (agents) even more power over tenants.

You can do your own bond clean for under $100. Bunnings has a vast range of cleaning items in bulk, plus cheap window cleaners, mops and everything you need. Just get the checklist of everything that needs to be cleaned and give yourself a few days to do it and you will save a fortune.

Help with profit and loss form for losses

Please only answer this if you run a business and have experience with the form.

This is my 2nd form this year, no sales yet however some stock (about $22 worth) didn't last very long due to heat variations (food). How do I declare the loss or do I not need to on this form and jut leave that for the ATO? I can only see COGS on the P&L form.

My question is how likely is this to be approved? I'll be telling them when I apply for a new rental in NSW.

Does anyone have experience with this? I am the tenant who will be running an ecommerce business from home with a small amount of inventory (small homewares and gifts - no hazardous or illegal products). Everything is online apart from me receiving small orders from wholesalers for inventory and me taking customer orders to the nearest letterbox. The address will be shown as a po box to the public (ASIC etc). I don't need council approval for this business.
