[OC] BMW with places to be. Was inches behind me, flashing and honking for me to speed up from a stop.

Movie theaters should be happy people are even going to them. Not charging a fee for all the inconveniences that come with watching a movie there.

My mentor was the most important support I had throughout my entire program. She honestly became like a therapist to me. During my last term, someone I loved and cherished passed away, and around that same time I was taken advantage of in a work situation and lost my income.

There were a couple of times where I was on the edge of just rotting away in bed, drinking all day and night and giving up completely.

She’s the one who kept pushing me when I couldn’t find the will or motivation to keep going and finish another course. I met with her every week for eight months, and I only just realized yesterday that our last meeting had already happened.

I’m going to miss her more than I expected. If you have a mentor like this, don’t take them for granted. They might be carrying more people through hard times than you realize.
