Chris Evans spoke about which MCU superheroes he would choose for a definitive Avengers team during the recent Fan Expo Boston panel:

“…I think it would be crazy not to start with Scarlet Witch, just because of her power, right…”

We haven’t seen her in the MCU since Multiverse of Madness, or if you count animation- marvel zombies. However, I still don’t understand why she has so much influence and hype even though she’s never mentioned. I noticed this recently with SDCC, and Avengers Doomsday and literally everyone was talking about Wanda, yet Marvel never mentioned her. Does anyone know why she’s so popular, and if she’s so popular why haven’t we seen more of her? I genuinely don’t understand how her movies have consistently been box office hits, yet other movies aren’t? Can someone explain why she’s so popular; I think she may have a large fandom and I have seen trolls before but it can’t just be that.

The Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff is the most popular female character in the MCU, yet she still hasn’t made an appearance.

It’s Elizabeth Olsen’s performance, grief, power, comic history, Avengers/X-Men ties, and the fact that people clearly react to her. I also don’t really agree with reducing her popularity to “she’s hot.” Wanda was oversexualized in earlier comics/media, but the MCU version connected because of tragedy, emotion, power, and performance. And the just the facts prove it, I’m genuinely shocked by her box office earnings- Wanda’s 5 major MCU movie appearances made about $8.27B total, averaging $1.65B worldwide, while MCU movies without her as a major presence average about $759M. Doctor Strange made $676M, but Multiverse of Madness with Scarlet Witch as a central hook made $956M and opened at $187M domestic. WandaVision also pulled 7.3B Nielsen minutes, around 122M hours watched, plus 23 Emmy nominations / 3 wins. So no, I don’t think it’s just trolls or loud fans. Wanda has actual audience demand.!<

Some chats that I saw that perfectly sum up this whole situation. People forget that Romani people are Eastern European and feature a diverse color palette. Skin color should not matter!

Marvel only had to say the word “Witch”, and the entire internet faced shockwaves throughout its systems. Imagine if they actually announced she was coming back? At this point, Marvel has to be aware of her importance in the MCU; I hope they’re doing what they can to bring back her character narratively. Also, attempting to end her trilogy, or not even mention her in her own trilogy is wrong. We better see something at D23, and where is the petition that Elizabeth Olsen requested?

The red witch image circulating around was fake. The real overnight change replaced the purple Latverian Witch with Doctor Doom. However, this costume looks amazing. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the next costume.. let’s hope it’s red.

Marvel has now displayed green, orange, and purple versions across three days, strongly suggesting multiple witches. Purple definitely raises some interesting possibilities. What’s next, red? Let’s keep our fingers crossed! Some rumors suggest this may be Clea or Agatha.

Edit: Does anyone notice how this witch has a golden mask? The other witches had a grey silver mask, yet this one features a unique design.

Marvel physically swapped the display overnight, suggesting multiple witches. It doesn’t confirm Wanda, but there’s clearly enough here to theorize about. What’s next, a red costume? Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Notice anything familiar? Now before y’all start downvoting for no reason, just take a look and take it in. Call me delusional but this is something that can’t be hidden. Yes, it could be Victoria or just a random witch costume, but let’s hold out hope? Let’s theorize… who could this possibly be?

I’ve blocked them before, but I keep seeing them show up under other people’s posts with weirdly hostile replies like “this is the worst theory I’ve ever seen” instead of actually discussing anything. It feels less like normal disagreement and more like they’re trying to provoke Wanda fans or derail the thread.

Not telling anyone to harass them or anything. I’m just asking if other people have noticed the same pattern, because it might be something worth reporting to the mods if it keeps happening.
